Smile New Challenge Who's With Me

HEY EVERYONE...I AM SO READY ....I AM HOPING OTHERS WILL JOIN IN WITH ME. IT GOES FOR 12 WEEKS.....SEE HOW MUCH YOU LOSE IN 12 WEEKS CUTTING OUT YOUR SUGARS AND YES THAT WOULD MEAN I WOULD HAVE TO CUT OUT MY SODA INTAKE..LOL.., AND LOW CARB AND EXCERSISE.......AND THE MORE PEOPLE WE GET THE BETTER WE CAN HELP KEEP EACH OTHER ON TRACK SO WHO'S WITH ME. I AM SO TIRED OF SHOPPING IN THE CLEARANCE RACK SO NO ONE SEES WHAT SIZE I GRAB. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO GET HEALTHY AND WEAR CUTE CLOTHES...SO WHOS WITH ME....HERE IS ME WHERE I AM AT NOW...THIS PHOTO WAS TAKEN JUST THIS LAST WEEKEND...AND I ALMOST FELL ON THE FLOOR....THATS WHAT I LOOK LIKE.....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..... MAKES ME JUST WANT TO HIDE IN THE BAGGIEST CLOTHES...WHICH I DO NOT HAVE MUCH OF.....I DONT LIKE MY LIMITATIONS.....I AM READY TO TAKE THE STEP...WHO'S WITH ME......

Since I am about to start South Beach, I'd love to join this challenge with you. I was going to stay from all challenges but this one actually suits me. Since there is no goal number in mind in that time (which always discourages) but just a general "how much can you lose", this will work.

Only thing is, I won't be able to start until next Sunday since I won't be able to food shop until Saturday afternoon or evening. I'm kind of stuck with what I have in the house until then.

I'll keep checking up on this thread.

I will join in on this! I want to be at my goal weight by then...175lbs

For me drink more water!
Do more workouts!

And lose my last 23lbs.....

Hi Everyone,

I'd love to join you. As I am coming off a very rough week I am definitly up for a new challenge. I was very close to giving up last week but somehow I have found a little bit of will power to keep going. I could definitly use some support along the way.
I have decided to refocus and to keep plugging along.

My goal for 9-29-06 would be to lose 21 more pounds. That equate to 1.5lbs a week. I'm am still continuing to tweak my plan to help make it work.

I look forward to getting to know everyone.

I TOO WAS ALMOST READY TO GIVE UP...BUT YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS BETTER TO HAVE OTHERS THAT ARE GOING THOUGH THE SAME THING TO HELP US LIFT ONE ANOTHER UP. HERE AN IDEA I STARTED A JOURNAL...NOT YOU TYPICAL JOURNAL...BUT THIS IS WHAT I DID..AND I AM HAVING MY 13 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER DO HER JOURNAL....

BASICALLY WHAT DO YOU WANT OUT OF LIFE...WHAT DO YOU WANT TO ACCOMPLISH.....DOWN LOAD OR CUT OUT PHOTOS IN A MAGAZINE..I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT SKINNY GALS....BUT LIFE IN GENERAL....THE FIRST THING I CUT OUT WAS MONEY....
EVEN LIKE THINGS IN YOUR HOUSE....OR WHAT EVER FLOATS YOUR BOAT...BUT THEY ARE GOALS THAT WILL KEEP US GOING....AS SOON PUT MY IN THE BOOK I WILL TAKE A SNAP SHOT OF WHAT I HAVE DONE SO FAR.... I THINK THIS WILL BE FUN THING FOR EVERYONE.....

No problem Jaya. I knew you didn't mean anything by the caps. You are just so excited to enter this new phase of life. lol

First let me say, you don't hardly look old enough to have a thirteen year old child.

Secondly, I am glad you mentioned the tape measure. I just found mine again so I have to remember to myself before I start the challenge. Thanks for the reminder.

I haven't set a goal for myself. I think my main goal should be to control my eating like a horse on weekends when I go home because my mom makes the BESTEST food ever and while she does nothing like shoving it down my throat, I can't help myself. Very bad. Anyway, I'm going to try and stay away from Chinese food (bad eggroll, bad!) and eat responsibly when I go out to eat with friends. I've given up drinking which is not a big problem since I didn't drink much to begin with anyway.

Alright. Those are my goals. My measurements are:

Neck - 14
Arm - 11.5 (measured halfway around upper arm)
Waist - 35.5
Hips - 43
Thigh - 23.5 (measured halfway around upper thigh)

Anything else to measure???
