Guess I was wrong about being an apple shape, it looks more like the V shape you described above. Also according to the ring, shoe and wrist sizes, I am large-framed. LOL , I guess now, "I aint fat, i'm just big-boned". Boy, do I wish this was true.
A million years ago when I thought I wanted to be an image consultant We learned that the four basic female shapes are A, V, H and 8. I don't know why they never talked about apples.
Stand in front of a mirror with your arms hanging slack at your sides. Look at yourself dead on front. A's have wider hips than shoulders. V's have wider shoulders than hips. H are pretty straight up and down, not much nip to the waist. 8 are just like they look like, hourglass ya know?
Wow that is really interesting. Guess that makes me a V, sometimes I despise my oversized shoulders.
I've got a large frame an an hourglass shape, though slightly more top-heavy. My hips are 46" and my full bust--over the boobs--measurement is 48" (my band size is actually 36; I wear a J-cup). Hourglass is 10" smaller in the waist than in bust & hips.
Ok, if it's shoulders you go by, then I'm an 8, although almost oval shaped at present I always used to call myself a pear because my chest was small compared to my hips and I always have to buy smaller shirts than pants. My shoulders are broad though (and my arms are long) so the smaller shirts fit around my torso but have arms that are too short! Woe is me!
Interestingly enough that site refuses to let me create any model for my height until I enter in pretty much my IDEAL weight... even if I were 10 pounds overweight, no dice. LOL guess they want only perfectly sized women at those stores!
Here goes....
W - 210
H - 5' 5 & 3/4"
(it's a joke around our house-my Mom is exactly 5'6" and now my 18 year old daughter grew an inch in the last year and she is 5'6" too....)
I'd say I am an hourglass
46-36-47
When I weighed 125-130 up until my second child I was
36-26-36
I always have had a hard time finding a pair of jeans that fit right....
I agree with Misti--those "your model" on different websites always tell me I must be measuring wrong!!
