Default Steppers?

Does anyone here have or use a stepper? I've been thinking about getting one to use on days when I can't get out and walk...mainly because they are small and I don't have a lot of room for exercise equipment. The one I am looking at is the ProForm Hot Cross Buns Stepper from Sears http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...id=00664053000 I'd love to hear your opinions if you have one or have used one...

I have an ellipitical trainer that also changes into a stepper...and it's great!

Stepping is great exercise and i find that i don't get tired as quickly doing that as when i use the elliptical. It sure works out those buns!

I was told not to use a stairmaster because of my bad knees, so fair warning that if you've got knee (or ankle, I've heard) problems, it's probably not a good idea. Otherwise, it certainly IS a great workout for the butt in addition to the legs! I am a HUGE fan of the elliptical--if you've never tried it, I do suggest that as well--burns a lot of calories since it's moving your entire body (assuming you use the hand thingies to keep your arms moving, too). It's just like running but without the harsh impact on your joints

I do stairmaster for an hour 6 days a week. I used to use treadmill and stationary bike, and elliptical but I feel the stairmaster gives me the most workout. I sweat more on the stair master than any of the other ones. I usually uses the one at the gym, but this one looks great. I might get one for myself too.
