May the Force be with me on this!

  • I acted all kind and benevolent, and bought a few "cookies boxes" yesterday to 2 kids selling them door-to-door to prepare a school trip...

... Which was a nice gesture, alright, but now I'm stuck with these four boxes at home, and they keep on calling!

They were a little expensive, so I really don't feel like throwing them away, I don't have *that* much money to my name. I plan on handing some to friends when they come to visit (too bad this doesn't happen more often) and bring one to my parents and sister this week-end, but in the meantime, I need to keep severe control on this, a.k.a. if I take a cookie, it has to be ONE only, not the whole darned box. Time to experiment and see if I've learnt my lesson about moderation, hmmmm?

May they rest unopened as long as possible on the deepest shelf of a not very used cupboard in a room where I never go in winter, buried behind a pile of magazines!

(And please wish me good luck on this, I think I'll need it, haha.)
  • sounds crazy, but good luck!
  • Wrap them up immediately as presents for other people. If they're in shiny wrapping paper, you won't want to open the "presents" - especially as you've already decided to give them away.
  • Sounds like a lovely idea! Thanks
