I don't drink a lot of it, but I do drink it from time to time. At the moment I drink 1 espresso per day during the week and not much else, but I can take it or leave it a lot of the time.

Try the green tea out.
splenda, I've heard this name and a few others, all of them are not the best for us. How bad is a table spoon of sugar? It seems that there is just no good sugar whatsoever forever? or is there? I'd like to really avoid having to drink processesed sugar (btw I do use some sweetner rather than sugar called white satin, but it tastes and looks exactly like) what about brown sugar.

p.s. I never drank tea before, but now more and more I crave warm things... perhaps because I have less warm hearty things and more salads. For dinner unless I am dying for it, I've found that a warmed up water tastes sweet and soothing enough.... (btw for green tea, which I am not in love with but can deal with, I'd hate to use sugar, it would be gross), so may be it's jsut easier to retrain myself and drop the habit which been around for a few months and switch over to hot water for breakfast and dinner.... hmm bland though.... makes my worried, that I will feel as if I am in a prizon on water and bread (the sandwich for breakfast). again too many thoughts... i am like a mental dump.

I don't use white sugar in my teas because it takes a lot more of it. Personally I don't like Splenda. I'm still on aspartame.

I saw the today show this morning, and they talked about drinking sodas. According to it that drinking diet sodas are actually helpful for the weight loss. It has sugar substitutes ( splenda, equal ) and it somehow helps the weight loss process. Only downside they mentioned was the chemicals causes tooth decay. I don't drink soda, so I am not sure, but I thought to share it with you guys.
