For the record...

  • The post I made about getting information for anyone who answered those questions was simply to send you the weekly menu, recipe cards and shopping list that was customized to each individual. It meant a lot to me that I knew I would help some of you. I was really excited about it. There was nothing said or implied about money. Like I said, it's free. The website I was referring to would have been mine. I'd set up a personal page for each person with their own user/password so you could keep it private. If it worked out well I planned to do the exercise planner as well for whoever wanted it.
I understand, I guess, why it was taken down. It's purely a bummer because it took a good half hour to write all the things in and now it's gone. I even stalked the board a bit waiting for replies.
  • I didn't even see this post that you are talking about. Sounds like it would have been something nice to try out and see if it was helpful at all.
  • It sounds like you were trying to be nice, though I also can see why your post might have disapeared. Just from your explaination, it seems like it may have sounded like a business venture on your part. Really, if you are planning on providing all these services to a fair number of people, it would have been fairly labor intensive for you, or so it seems to me.

Perhaps you could still share your knowlege by posting some of your menus and ideas publically here in the appropriate forums. I'm sure that there would be many people who would find them useful, even if they don't reply. I'm convinced that there are more lurkers on most web communities than there are active posters.
