Default What is a realistic goal?

I am wondering what is a realistic goal as far as how many inches to lose? I know as far as weight what is good. But what is realistic for inches? Like how many a week... or month. Or even what have YOU lost?

Inches to lose can depends a lot on your body type and how much strength/weight training you do for toning.

I started out with a 30" waist and 42" hips and after losing 50 pounds now have a 24" waist and 35.5" hips. I really had no idea when I started just how much inches i'd lose and have to say I've been midly surprised at what I have!

I think that the more toning you do then more inches you'll probably lose per pound, and there are times when you may think your weightloss is stalled but you've actually lost an inch or two.

Thanks so much. Well I was going insane. I was doing as others said and measuring verses weighing myself. I just feel like I dont notice anything when I measure myself. I mean I have lost a few inches. But getting on a scale and seeing 5lbs gone is MUCH better than measuring yourself after two weeks and not seeing a notice.
