40 minutes of Leslie Sansone again.

No videos this weekend, though, as I'm going out of town. Maybe I should buy a jump rope.

1 hour on the elliptical.

Does anyone else ever do it backwards? I did 10 minutes backwards and honestly felt like my bum was going to fall off! That's really tough.

I hope to be walking the golf course behind my parents' house today with my mom.

After yesterday at work, I think I can add "Pigeon Wrangling" to my workout log. It's a very long story, but basically, for quite a time I was ducking and squatting all around the library parking lots and garage.

Nothing major, but I did go on a couple of walks with my mom. At least I was moving.

A scene in Surburbia, USA, yesterday afternoon:

"Look, in the yard!"

"It's a tank!"

"It's a machine!"

"No, it's Mulch Woman!!"

Yes, Mulch Woman! Able to lay 3 inches with a single shovel! Able to fill a wheelbarrow in less than 30 seconds! Able to work in 15 minute increments with five minute breaks for two hours!

Mulch Woman. Coming to the rescue of older gardeners with hernias everywhere.

Ask for her by name.

We're Beatrice.

I jogged for 5 minutes today, but I am just NOT a runner so I did an hour on the elliptical instead of jogging any more.

I think it's time for some more variety...

ummm...

(couldn't fall asleep till 5 am b/c of the noise, so had to skip the 7 am aerobics class...)

1 hour Pilates
1 hour stretching
50 minutes aquafit
30 minutes gym (bike & cross-trainer, 480 calories burnt)
70 minutes Yoga
and played some badminton (30-40 mins?)

I'm about to brush my teeth and hopefully drop dead and sleep through the noise.

I am just getting back into working out! Last week (Mon, June 27th) was the first time I had been to the gym in over a year. All I did was walk for half an hour at 4 mph, and I had to slow that down at the end. I walked on Wednesday, too - without slowing down! On Sunday my husband and I took a five mile bike ride (I used to ride 30 miles no problem. Now, 5 miles was TIRING) Tuesday I played softball, Wednesday I walked about a mile and a half. All this added up to a 0.2 pound weight loss. Crap.

So this morning I got to the gym (for the THIRD time in a year) and did half an hour on the elliptical. *pat self on back*
