I posted this on another site as well.. but it had some good respones so I thought I would try it here.. ok.. some of ya'll may think this is silly.. but a friend and I once made up a list that kinda made fun of what we hated about being fat.. so I thought we could make a list kinda light heartedly to make us laugh and work harder to accomplish our goals..



I'm not gonna miss: having to stretch out my shirts after I put them on just so they wont cling to my rolls.. (which is a waste of time anyways because people can still see I'm fat,, I guess it's just a piece of mind)

I'm not gonna miss: granny panties

I'm not gonna miss not fitting into "tube" seats OUCH an arm up the bum, not needed!

I'm not gonna miss eating till I bust and then falling asleep cos I've no energy.

I'm not gonna miss getting out of breath for the bus.

I'm not gonna miss buying my jeans from the men's section.

I'm not gonna miss getting winded climbing one flight of stairs.

I'm not gonna miss not being able to find clothes that fit.

I'm not gonna miss being unhealthy!

IM NOT going to miss SORE feet and knees after walking the theme parks or just plan walking all day.

I'm not going to miss my stomach roll! I'm not going to miss my chubby face!! I'm not going to miss BRA OVERHANG!!!

I'm not going to miss too tight jeans.

I'm not going to miss my big ol' butt.

I'm not going to miss my big legs.

I'm not going to miss wondering if everytime I walk into a room somewhere and everyone looks at me - if they are thinking about how fat I am.

I'm not going to miss my thighs rubbing together when i walk.

I'm not going to miss my "cafeteria lady" arms that continue to wave after I've stopped.

I'm not going to miss everyone telling me what a great personality and pretty face I have. Has anyone ever said this to a skinny person???

I second the bra overhang!!

Won't miss my spare tire which gives me a lump on my butt. :mad:

I'm not going to miss my tent like shirts........

I'm not going to miss my grandma-like swimsuit.......

I'm not going to miss eczema on my tummy and legs in summer......

I'm not going to miss "but you're so beautiful on the inside - what does it matter what you look like" comments

I'm don't miss those smaller seats they used to have on all airplanes. I'm sure glad somebody finally decided to widen those bad boys. :D

I'm not gonna miss having a hard time fitting into seats.
I'm not gonna miss shopping in special plus size stores.
I'm not gonna miss having people say stupid little in considerate things with out realizing it.
I'm not gonna miss getting overlooked when I am out with all my skinny friends.
oh there is so much I'm not gonna miss. I wish it would happen now!!!

being unable to wear really light coloured pants because of the cellullite on my legs........I'm not gonna miss the feeling of being unable to take my kids on the rides at amusements parks for fear I will exceed the weight restrictions.

And, I won't miss wincing or feeling self-conscious everytime I hear the word "Fat".

I wont miss, having to have my children tie my shoes.
I wont miss, having sweat roll down my thighs, because I had to stand in a line for five minutes.
I wont miss, everyone in my family talking about how tiny I used to be!
And I wont miss this overweight body.
