R u eating filling foods? Sugary stuff will make you hungry sooner...protein will keep you feeling full longer...so will whole grains like brown rice and wheat bread, oatmeal...

Also-are you working out a lot? If you work out a lot-your calorie needs will be a little higher than if you live a more sedentary lifestyle.

I get this once in a while. If your eating until your full, walk away from the table, and think, hmmm....Im still hungry? I call it ghost hunger. I know when I left the table I was full, I ate a healthy meal, and there is no logical reason for me to be hungry, when my belly was full 5 min ago. If this is what is happening, distract yourself, find something to do until the feeling passes. If this isnt whats happening, then your best listen to the other ladies that have posted their suggestions

If that happens to me, I let it set for 10 minutes or so and if I am still hungry will try and find something low cal to eat to try and fill me up the rest of the way. HTH

I read somewhere a while back that the average human stomach has something like a two-cup capacity. Don't know if that's true or not, but now that I'm eating smaller ("normal") portion sizes, any meal that goes much over that leaves me too full.

More to the point, if I still feel hungry, I think about what I just ate to determine if it's likely there is, in fact, any physical room actually left in there! If not, it's probably all in my head.

try drinking a glass or two of water-- thirst can cause an 'empty stomach' sort of feeling!

I drink a glass of water or eat something low cal but big like a whole can of green beans or salad. Sometimes I think it's my body fighting the adjustment to normal portion size.

is there any protein on yer salad? Try a grileld chicken or steak salad and try some wheat pasta with yer veggies, throw alittle olive oil on there and some seasoning...

drink lots of water and eat slowly. sometimes if i eat when i am starving, i scarf my food down. then i feel like i haven't eaten anything at all. i drink a lot of water beofre i eat, and a lot of water when i'm eating. i find myself putting cayene on everything to make it super spicey, then i drink twice as much water as i would, and eat a lot less food.

Hope--I've had the same experience and I have found that I do better with protein and whole grains as well as lots of water. Usually all I need is the water to feel better and strangely enough the more I drink, the more I crave.
Good luck.
