I started my new healthy eating plan today! And I'm so proud of myself so far!! I've only eaten meals, and had 2 small snacks (one was yogurt, and the other celery with a 1/2 portion of peanut butter)
I still have dinner and another snack and at least 5 hours before bed! And I'm already at 1100 Calories!!
Breakfast:
2 scrambeled eggs (skim milk and one was only egg white)
2 pieces of turkey bacon
1/2 serving grape-nuts
1 banana
Snack 1:
1 8oz container of vanilla low fat yogurt
Lunch:
Salad (1 cup lettuce)
corn (1 tblsp)
1/2 chicken breast
1/2 tblsp parmesan cheese
5 slices Cucumber
2 tblsp reduced calorie Italian Dressing
5 whole wheat crackers
Snack 2:
Celery Stalk w/ 1 tbslp peanut butter
Does this look healthy?? Better choices than I was making at least
But I'm just so discouraged that I still have so long to go and so many calories already down Although I haven't been hungry all day, no snacking other than meals
My dinner plans are:
1 serving whole wheat pasta
1 serving low fat pasta sauce
1 serving veggie (either brocolie or green beans)
and Snack tonight
1 serving low fat butter free homemade popcorn (while watching a movie!)
Is it normal to be discouraged your first day on plan?
I should mention I'm not on any specific plan, just eating healthier! and exercising more!
