I am brand-new to this site, and I am just bowled over by the enthusiastic support everyone shares. After years of yo-yo dieting and trying every fad out there I think I need to start back with the basics. I have 40 lbs to lose to get to a healthy weight, and I know enough about nutrition and exercise to know what I SHOULD be doing. My weakness for sweets and pasta is overpowering, and some days it takes more strength than I can even imagine. I want to stop thinking about food all the time - what I should eat, what I shouldn't eat, what I shouldn't have eaten. It's EVERYWHERE! I don't know how to reshape my thinking to be successful.
