Default Struggles,struggles,struggles....

Day six was a success, although not without struggle. I knocked my water bottle over not once but TWICE today!I think subconciously I was trying to sabatoge my own 21 day challenge or something.? In the end my smart side of the brain won though all 64 ounces down and soon to be out hopefully..LOL

Thanks for the support M. N. J
Goodnight everyone!

to you friends for outtricking your brain. Now that IS a concept. I love it! Smart side and not so smart side! Sounds a lil' schizo to me! Knocking the water bottle over! Oh, you had me laughing!
Good for you, friends. You're doing it, strong and steady!

Default Day 12

I did it. I finished the full 80oz. of water. So proud of myself. Even my 9yr old daughter grabbed a bottle and started drinking. She got down a whole bottle.

Just wanted to drop a line and let you all know.

ALLRIGHT! Another water drinker doing her thing with style! You know what they say about imitation being the greatest compliment so just think of what kind of compliment your daughter grabbing a bottle too was! WOW! Good on you, M.N.J.!!

Well... I didn't eat meat... But I said a few bad word

Oh well! At least I didn't eat meat!

Seeing as how everyone is chugging water, I think I'm gonna forget my cuss goal and start with the water. I think that would be much better for me at the moment ^_^ Soooo beginning today, I drink the required amount of water

Day 3 = Success!

Hi. I have a question... Why is drinking 64 oz. of water a day so important for weight loss? My friend and I were talking and I told him that I'm getting ready to do the half a gallon a day thing... and he asked me why it was so important, and I couldn't answer :\

I tried to look it up, but all I found was "Some professionals say 64 ounces, while others say ½ ounce per pound of body weight."

Help!

Day 19!!!!

FriendsForFitness, how well I know the self-sabotage thing. You'd think that me and my sneaky little brain would be better friends by now....
Good for you and MNJ for keeping up with the water!

Still feeling lethargic. Hoping my energy level comes back up. Strange thing, maybe some weird little virus whose only symptom is fatigue?

Smile Eydie's on 19!! Hurrah for Eydie!!

Congratulations Eydie!! Is it really Day 19 already? WOW! You're almost there and you've had some real challenges this time around. But you've made it and I'd say there'll be no stopping you now. Sure hope you feel better soon!

michireiko, thanks for that info on water intake. I never worry about it because I drink tons of water but it is good to know! I'm sure that'll be a great boost to all the people doing this challenge by drinking water. It also explains why people were saying it was hard in the beginning but got easier, the frequent trips to the bathroom, and the getting thirsty all the time in the beginning. Very interesting.

Oh, and heh, almost forgot about me! I've made it through Day 12 now. Into the single digits to go! Thanks people for being here. It keeps me in line!

You're welcome ^_^

My doctor gave me the okay to eat cheese! That makes me happy I heart cheese.

I haven't had a sip of ANYTHING today. Though, I've only been up for 4 hours. I still should have something >: ( My husband is getting me 2 gallons of Culligan water (our city water is disgusting) and I'm gonna drink half a gallon when he gets home I'm thirsty enough that drinking 64 oz. in one gulp will be no problem at all!

Glad everyone made good use of the link!

Dewcan - Good job reaching day 12! Soon those number will be inverted!

And Eydie - day 19! I envy you!

Angry Day 13

Michireiko- Excellent information. I knew water was a big help in weight loss, but that site, just put it in better perspective for me!! Thanks for sharing that.

Well today is day 13. And I haven't quite got the whole 80oz down yet, I ended up buying a soda earlier (bad choice, I know) and once I started drinking that,,,, it didn't satisfy me like it used to! Strange isn't it? So when I got home,, I drank lots of water. I'm only on my 3rd bottle, but I still have time to get in the 4th. Soo much liquid!!

DewCan- at least you're doing something!! I think excercise is one of the hardest things to keep up with. I used to go to the gym everyday.... I don't know what happened to me!!

Eydie- hope you don't come down with a virus. I heard that there is one going around. Drink lots of fluids!(water!!) and get plenty of rest. (little mother hen here!)

Redballoon-Congrats on getting through another day. I believe everyone is doing quite well here don't you think??

Hi to everyone else I missed.

Talk to you all tomorrow.
