I'm not used to not having an appetite or extra calories, so I wasn't sure how to spend those calories...not my usual MO at all! I drank lots of water and road my elliptical for 30 mins. I left the resistance low so I wouldn't make my lungs feel worse. I still probably burned some calories even without much resistance. Overall a good day. I haven't had a good weight loss day for a long time...it feels good to be back on track.

I hope you feel better!! Take care.
Glad you are back on track, I'm feeling pretty good myself!

Hi all. This is going to be woefully short. I am sorry I am not doing a lot of personals. I just dont have an abundance of energy.
Sperrigo, lovesToTravel, dhani, cake (love the name) and Thousandsunny It is great to meet you all
Ronja congratulations on the 7 lb January loss. I am very impressed! I suspect your goal to reduce carbs in Feb. will make a difference. I know reducing carbs makes a big diff for me.
WeekendBoater wow oh wow, your mom had a hematoma. So glad it was removed. Glad she is recovering well. Thanks for the good thoughts. <3 Congratulations for the 7.4 loss in January. That is a great success. I hope the haddock is delicious !!
Diana great that you were back op today. I was raised on MSG. I hope you do not have a sensitivity to it. I do not think I did. otherwise I would be deceased after eating it almost every day for 18 years
Sundove
MonteCristo sometimes I think people just need a healthy carb. I think Potato is healthy for the body. It is a good detoxifier (I think). Wishing you best with the 3 hour drive to attend the protest. Good luck with the yoga. I think it is a great form or exercise.
Nicholsfamily maybe the gain is due to hormonal stuff. I know it will come off.
GettinFit good to see you again !
ZonieGirl congrats on the 7 lb loss. WTG !
I felt disgusted with myself today. I usually do not feel that way after a previous day of off plan eating. I have had a challenging time staying on plan for the past 12 days. Been doing a lot of emotional eating. I really must find a way to reel in. Its just unacceptable for me. Today I have been on plan. I will have around 1100 calories.
I hope everyone has a great Thursday. Groundhog day !!!!!! <3

Hi, Happy to read so many posts and everyone's Feb.goals.I am aiming for 8 pounds. My other goal is to start to do some weight training and at least walk each day.I'm so lazy about exercise.I walk some but nothing regular.I've had a lot of success(80.4 pounds gone) and I kind of think weight loss is about 80% what you eatat least for me,but I wantto be fit too. Also, staying at goal will be easier if I exercise.Wish I was one of those people that loved it.Well, good luck tomorrow.Looking forward to finishing up the work week and getting to the weekend.

Quick shout to Nichols & Ronja...yeah to the mention of unexplained gain when everything is op....sheesh ....I am almost ready to write that damn hello body letter do you hear me, it is your brain talking what the are you thinking???? (it did work one time LOL)
Today like everyday are op...low carbs, low calorie...example carbs 10.2, calories 1192, fat 81g protein 93g.

February 2017
Hi!
It is late...or early depending on how you look at it. I am tired, but I feel a need to post.
Think I am up a pound. Oh well...
EXERCISE: no exercise 2 days ago, swam 60 yesterday.
DIET: there was a brownie invasion in my home 2 days ago...diet okay yesterday. I did eat a spicy tostado at Taco Bell. Boy, I have cravings for Tex-Mex. Oh, oh, oh...my mind tricks me...someone gave me some food from Chili's too! Gee Whiz! This is why I need to record food! My body is weak.
OTHER: bought a couple of questionable foods at grocery store: chocolate milk and slices of key lime pie. The good news is that they are all small servings and I have not consumed them (yet). Returned overdue library books.
GOALS:
EXERCISE: walk.
DIET: use food mover, record desserts.
OTHER: sort stuff in boxes.

flower123 good job with staying on plan! I hope you can do it again today. For me, coming back from few bad days is the most difficult part. It's how my weightloss usually ends - after few good weeks or even months, I have one, two, three bad days...never to return to my healthy ways. Then I gain everything I had lost, and add some, until I can't look at myself again, and I start to lose weight...rinse and repeat, for years. So I realize it's the coming back from bad days that I have to work on!!!
nancylmrn you made me alugh! Acting your age I hope you have a good day!
WeekendBoater, I was thinking of you today, I had haddock for lunch too I love fish, but we never had it when I was a child so making it doesn't come naturally to me. I need to focus on it more, it's so healthy and yummy!
Midday checkin for me:
Still under the weather. Throat is better but can not breathe because of the full nose. I hope it clears out soon.
B: 3 egss, bacon
S: Carrot
L: Haddock, fresh vegetable. 2 sq. chocolate. Coffe with milk.
I'm planning on having soup for dinner. Where I live, lunch is the main meal for the day. It's when you usually have your proper meal, most likely meat and side dish. It also suits me better than having my main meal later in the day. I tend to have small dinner, like salad or soup.

Good morning! HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY; happy Thursday (almost Friday-day)
So, last night I did my HIIT 20 workout.. Usually I have to stop a few times throughout the workout or have to skip a whole fire drill because I am out of breath... I am proud to say I did the whole workout - THE WHOLE way through without stopping! (Except the intervals where you're supposed to)
My physical fitness goes really slow but my cardiovascular fitness and my strength fitness have both improved IMMENSELY! Such a good feeling
Today's workout: Burn Intervals, Ab Burner
Breakfast: 80 cal Yogurt (Tiramisu flavor, YUM)
Banana
Snack: Banana
Lunch: Tuna salad packet, triscuits, Fiber One brownie, and a salad that I will buy at the hospital (I'm all out of greens!)
Dinner: I think I will have chicken, broccoli and uncle ben's long grain & wild rice.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Flower123- You can do it!! Falling off really is just part of the journey.. Trust the process and you will bounce back in no time
Ronja - SAME.. Usually when I "fall off" that is the end of my weight loss as well.

Good morning all!
Wow this thread is fast moving, sorry I'm not able to keep up. 175.8 this morning, not as good about tracking this week, but not bad, just missed 2 days.
I started a meditation pack on Headspace today called training, hoping to get really regular with exercise.
Hope everyone is doing well and has a great day

Good morning lovelies!
I haven't checked in for about a week now. I'm trying to get a regular routine going with my new job responsibilities and finding the time to breathe.
I did not really meet my January goals, I've been stagnating at the same weight, but I know why so that's a plus, I suppose.
Goals for February:
- Lose 7 lbs
- Tackle the evening snack attack
- Meal planning and plan cookies into it... otherwise I'll eat them anyway and they'll be out of my 'budget'
- Include protein at every meal and reduce the reliance on carbs
My plan today:
B: an egg and cheese wrap and coffee that I bought because I ran out of the house in a hurry;
L: mushroom, okra and greens stew with tofu and rice;
D: rutabaga salad, fish or chicken, green beans
Hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday!

Hi guys,
Diana this is my favorite thread. I had a very disappointing January. I exercised intensely 3 times a week, then hurt my knee skiing, not real bad but enough to slow me down and make me very cautious. I yo yoed all month, and ended the month at only a 1lb lost. Today I am 1 more pound down,I suffer from menopausal constipation so I started on Metamucial weight control fiber, and probiotics yesterday. Now 18lbs to goal.

Good morning everyone Nice to come in and read your news as always.
Hope everyone had a good day yesterday and if not, today is a fresh new start!
flower Thank you on all counts! Try not to be too hard on yourself, it can be really hard but remember that your trying, we don't fail unless we give up. Try try again as they say! I am glad your having a good day today! flower, do you enjoy walking? Not sure how the weather is there. Not everyone enjoys it although I always did and I find it to be a great stress reliever, with that being said, it is the outdoor walks that really give me a lift......somehow the treadmill indoors just does not have the same effect on me. I still do the old WII step aerobics and I really like that thing! lol
Ronja glad your feeling better, your doing great even with that awful cold, WTG Nice on the fish! Yes, I love it too! It never leaves a heavy feeling in my tummy and it's a wonderful change up from a lot of the chicken I eat. Last night I had mine with a little asparagus (had some of DH's, not a huge fan of it) and tonight I will have the fish with salad. Menu looks great, keep up the awesome work.
A big hello to all of you. I need to get some things ready to head out shortly and looking forward to catching up with you all soon. Keep up the great work everyone, we are here, tis' a new day, and I really think that February will go by fast! I am thinking by taking things day by day and treating each day as a new one, before we know it the days will pile up and we will have the month behind us. I have slacked off on giving us stars on the calendar every day and I need to catch up on that as well as my journal.
Wishing everyone a great day!
Menu Today
L-2 h.b eggs
snack (m.a) cucumber slices or one of my snack packs
Dinner- baked haddock and salad (cains f.f dressing or red wine vinegar with oregano)
snack- one of my s.f fudge pops or s.f jello's
(had one last night , so adding that to last night's menu)
Tomorrow we plan to go out, I skipped last weekend. Focusing on a good OP day and surrounding the weekend after tomorrow evening. I really want to keep it cranking this final winter month.......major goal is to my workouts after of course making sure I have all my ingredients and meal plans in place (all set for now) as that is always number one with me!
Keep up the great work everyone, I will report back tonight with exercise etc.

Hi all!
I've been a member for quite some time and nearly made it to my goal weight two years ago. Unfortunately, I gained about 30lbs back last year through a tornado of unfortunate events. I'm trying to get back to my exercise routine and healthy eating. I'm hoping to use this forum again for accountability purposes and to hear everyone's tips and tricks!
My goal for this month is to lose 10 lbs, but most importantly, quit the excessive snacking/drinking and get back working out and eating healthy.
Look forward to getting back on track!

Good Morning Everyone!
Hi and welcome to all the new folks checking in!
My scale and I aren't getting along still. I was up .4 this morning despite staying on plan yesterday. It may have been the sodium from the chili last night, but it's still frustrating. BUT I'm not going to let it get me down or derail me.
Calories: 1275
Water: 64 oz
Weight: 267.2 Up .4
So today is day 14 of my new lifestyle and I'm thinking it's time to start adding in some light exercise to get myself moving and maybe that'll help my scale calm down a little and get moving in the right direction again. I'm going to start with getting 3 solid days of exercise a week for the next couple of weeks and then I'd like to work my way up to 4-5x a week.
Hope all of you have a great day. I'll check back later and do personals if I have time.
