Wow we must chat a lot

Just in to let you all know that I am still alive.... I have a horrible cold I means I struggle to have anything to say on here

Weight is not so bad, put on a little due to Birthday cake and I am hoping that If I have high step days instead of gym days.... I will be able to keep things normal.

Ok the bloat of yesterday is gone....so whoop whoop. This is the first time I am looking at the scale and going wow I am really doing this and it is working (well except for those days I have to rant and scold and jump up and down while foaming at the mouth). Thank you all for your support

Well, I'm still doing great with low carb, but I'm mentally exhausted. I can tell a little white lie with the best of them, but I just can't with long term deception...I'm just such an open person it kills me. So this whole applying for another job while having to keep it secret from my current job is sapping my strength. I don't know how people do this on a regular basis, I'm afraid to have a conversation with anyone because it might slip out. Was so stressed out by the time I got home yesterday that I just curled up on the couch with my pets and coffee and pretty much didn't move until I went to bed. So no exercise, except a walk at work. I hope this doesn't turn out to be a long process 'cause I think it could easily trigger my depression again.

But today is another day. Feel ok so far, about to eat a quick bite and go for a walk. Leaving early today to deal with some rental property things (always something!) and I've got a lower body workout scheduled for tonight. I'm thinking that I'll add back in yoga on my non-lifting days. Feel like I need to work on my core more, plus it helps with the stress.

Hello everyone! *waves* I cannot really believe this... but I'm down another 0.8 lbs from yesterday. I need to stay off the scale though haha and then see some serious drops when I do step on it! Still ketoing and feeling fantastic. Can I possibly lose another 3 lbs by the end of January to meet my monthly goal? Fingers crossed! I've lost 8 lbs since Sunday so it can't be that hard, right?

I slept HORRIBLY last night... Fiance decided to show up at home around 2 am drunk... Fantastic. And it's funny how it was I that moved to the couch. Basically I got 3 hours of sleep today, and therefore my coffee intake today is slightly higher than recommended...

Today's meal plan:
B: spinach frittata (=1.5 eggs, 1/12 cream, 1/12 almond milk, 1/2 oz. cheese, 1/2 cup spinach)
S: 1 cheese string, 3 (omg!) cups coffee with cream & sugar free sweetener
L: 1 cajun chicken thigh, 1 cajun chicken wing, 3/4 cup cauliflower puree, 3/4 cup cooked broccoli/asparagus mix
S: 1 cheese string
D: I don't know yet! I have to go for groceries after work...

Exercise:
Yesterday: 30 mins treadmill, 60 mins yoga
Today: 60 mins bootcamp

Glad to see everyone is doing well! Keep up the good work! *cheers*

Scotsgal: Hope your cold gets better. Good luck with your steps.

Diana: Always an inspiration!!

Ronja: Girl, I am trying! LOL I know most of it is water weight, but it still makes me happy to see that number go down!

Nancy: Love it when the bloat goes away! You must feel GREAT!

Monte: Hang in there. It is a difficult thing to look for a job when you have another one. I did it and it took me something like 6 months to have another offer come in. Vent to us, we'll always be here for you!

Rusty: Sorry for your disturbed sleep, but YAY for the movement on the scale. I'm not doing keto officially, but I'm doing low carb and it's really helping the scale move. I definitely think I'll be sticking to low, quality carb. Hope you get some rest tonight.

As for me, I have reached my first 5lbs! I get to add my first trampoline guy. I am so excited. And this means 21 to go. My eating has been on point today and I am feeling good going into dinner time tonight. I have a plan and I will stick to it.

Hope everyone is having a great day!!

HI Everyone!

I wasn't able to get a workout in today. I had washing machine drama today. After getting the washing machine loaded with clothes and full of water, I noticed the pump wasn't pumping. I finally got the clothes out and wrung them out. I loaded all the clothes that needed to be washed (might as well wash everything, right? ) and went to work. Once I got a break, I went to the laundry mat. I met DH back home and then we went to buy a new washer and dryer. The old set was 14 years old. I figured there was no sense in working on it, something else would soon go wrong. Then, while I was coming in the house, I dropped my phone. It's at least 7 years old, maybe 10. Anyways, I no longer have a flip phone, it totally flipped out and I have 2 pieces now that do not connect. We went back out to Verizon, but they had already closed. So, I will deal with that drama tomorrow.

I updated my food information.

What brand did you have? I bought a very basic, old fashioned, heavy duty Speed Queen. The phone is past dead. Deader than dead.

Hi girls, I been bad about listing my menu. I have been struggling to get back! With this being said, it has all been good. I had rotisserie chicken last night and baked haddock tonight! As exhausted I was yesterday, I managed the grocery run and it was a big one! I been cooking all morning and went and brought meals to mom and dad and had stuff for us to of course. I will spare you from all that I cooked and the food porn, I don't eat much of it! For me, basically it is baked haddock and some of the greek veggie dish I made (mostly the eggplant). I promised myself when I started paln that I would not run out of ingredients (that is a danger zone for me) so going yesterday was paramount!. I wish and hope you are all doing well and don't forget that we still have almost a week left to the month! Lets keep shining together! Thanks again for pulling me back in when I so needed it! IT is so nice to have good friends here! Much love to you all, let's keep it rocking ladies!

Rusty stay hydrated with water. When we lose that much it is usually water or muscle. I aim for about 1lb a week of fat from calorie restrictions. The exercise does add more to weight loss but not much more.
I used to love my scale , but on my last weight-loss 2 years ago I had a serious plateau stall. The scale became disheartening. I only weigh in 1 a week now and take it with a grain of salt.
I Know the keto diets can be tough. But usually get results.
Are you using a trainer or being monitored by physician?

Diana Maytag! lol and because they were so good all those yaers, we looked for the same brand. I am by no means tech savvy, let me tell you@ lol We figured that since that brand was so good to us we would stick to the same! Even so, they just don't make things like they used to!
