Today I struggled a bit with the heat. However, I ate well and stuck to my eating plan. I got a little exercise walking around the air conditioned grocery store this evening. But I didn’t sleep well last night. I have some pain that’s not going away, possibly from my disc disease, but I’m not sure. It’s probably nothing, but I have decided to get it checked out so I’m going to see my doctor on Wednesday. It will be just my luck that when I finally get to the doctor the pain will disappear and I will seem ridiculous!

B: scrambled eggs w/grated cheese, blueberries, chai tea w/a smidge of half and half
L: chicken salad and kale salad
D: chicken strips from Vons w/honey mustard sauce, ambrosia salad
D: mint tea

Casslill6 Welcome to the check in! Good luck with your goals!

Nichols The easiest time I have ever had fasting is when I was truly eating no carbs. Then I could go most of the day without food and not feel like I was going to die. Otherwise I am not very good at fasting. Probably you will do better at than me.

ciecie I hope the heat is not so bad for you tomorrow and that you feel better.

Sundove I’m glad you are feeling great. Sleeping in on the occasion is nice. You probably needed that extra sleep.

Diana I clicked on your Devotion for Dieters link. Lovely story, very inspiring. I have been trying to pray more myself.

Chunkahlunkah Good job maintaining your weight. I always think of that as a plus.

FYML Sometimes an indulgence (like pudding) actually works for you rather than against you. It sounds like you enjoyed it and that's good!

Good Morning, Everyone!

FYML Great job on the steps!

Magistra I hope the Dr. can figure out the back pain and provide some type of relief. Are there any treatment options beside surgery?

Ciecie I'm glad you are feeling better.

Happy Tuesday Folk) Just a quick check in from work. Magistra, sorry you are having the pain. Hopefully, you will get some relief soon. Things are going well with me so far. Ate on plan yesterday and exercised before work today. Has anyone tried Classical Stretching by Miranda Esmonde White? I am starting to add that to my workout. Diana, I know you already do a lot of stretching. I am late joining the party)) NicolsFamily, haven't faster per se. Just have waited later to eat some days (ie..lunch as first meal the dinner later). Have a great day everyone!

I am going to start the leangains fasting. It's where I go 16 hours with no eating and 8 hours with eating. I feel it may help with my binge eating especially if I can get all my calories in one or two meals. It may satisfy that binge feeling and get my calories in. I have to switch it up because I have fell of the wagon bad...not completely given up but off and on causing me too gain too much weight back...

152.7 again!

I had my follow up today for the blood work I got when I was feeling really dizzy and disoriented a couple weeks back.

Results showed I was badly dehydrated, which is also what the PA I saw suspected at the time. So back then I stopped exercising and started drinking a ton of water. After about 5 days of that I felt great. Amazingly good, actually. My dr wants me to get another blood test in a couple of months to make sure the results are better. He said it takes a while for it to fully get back on track, and to keep doing what I'm doing.

It's kinda nuts how much I need to drink to be healthy. I'd been drinking 8 glasses/64 oz, but turns out my sweet spot is 12 glasses/96 oz without exercise. My dr suggested I'll probably need an extra 2+ glasses on the days I exercise, once I start that up again. 14 glasses a day is nuts lol, but if that's what it takes, I'll do it.

Magistra - I agree about maintaining. I've been relieved a few days bc I'd expected an increase! So I've been happy with no change. It's amusing to me to keep seeing the exact same number for so long. I'm glad you're going to the dr. It's always smart to get pain checked out.

Have a good day, ladies!
