Thanks everyone for the kind words. Pity party is over, I went to the gym to renew my membership. I only let it lapse since May 16th.

Syck, I was 3 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight. THREE POUNDS. Ugh! At this time I'm around 155 but I'm too scared to get on the scale so I won't for a while. :/ Sorry you gained too, it sucks. I ate very reckless in Jamaica back in November too and that didn't help at all.

Nichols, stress really does screw everything up. I'm not a binge eater but I just stop caring about what I'm eating and feel too depressed to exercise for a few days. Do that too many times a month and eventually (very slowly) I'm back to square one. Oh well.

Flower, I will look into Relora for interactions with my current meds but I'm hoping that once my ex moves things will finally calm down. Seems it's always something though.

Beloved: My son is 13 which is a pretty crucial time in his life for his father to move away. It might be a good thing, or a bad thing. Who knows. I have mega anxiety about putting him on a plane solo at some point too but I'll cross that bridge later. Too overwhelming to think about.

Diana: You're always so encouraging, thank you.

At least work is going well!

Hi everyone. I haven't been in the forum in ages so guess this is a good place to jump back in! I was up just a few pounds from what I was three years ago but maintained most of it and have recently lost 12 of the ones I gained back... for a total loss still of 77 pounds! I am grateful that I have found a method/system which really works well for me and is very healthy... and one I actually enjoy living with. Just have to be cautious not to get off track and overdo it!

I am off to go start catching up on all your posts and see if there are still people here from "way back when"

Hey all. Will write personals later today or tomorrow, depending on time
Misti Sounds like you are doing great now. Getting the support that you need. Losing that weight that creeped back on. Great picture, btw.

Today was wild, in the eating dept. what a day off it was. I got a demi ciabatta with olives in it. from TJs. I thought I would have half of it before company came for dinner. When grilled with a bit of butter that thing disappeared before I knew it. But the worst part is that I also had 4 fried mozzarella sticks. They were perfectly garlicky and salty. Then there was dinner. I was full before I sat down. The spreads/dips were awesome. White bean hummus with roasted garlic and whole white beans folded in after the hummus was made. Then the refried bean spread with sauteed onion and plenty of toasted cumin. Then the guacamole. I thought I would buy that. but the stuff I bought turned out to be very spicy hot. So I returned it and bought an avocado. Made my own. I had shredded sundried tomatoes in olive oil, garlic ciabatta bread and some interesting chips. Oh, and chopped veggies with lemon and olive oil. There were a lot of leftovers that now are at my friend's house. I did not want any of it in my home. But I do have the lovely house gift she brought. 2 large sprigs of beautiful pink little roses blooms. and greenish white mums and daisys. She always brings a house gift when she comes to one of my gourmand meals. Then we read tea leaves. She does that professionally (among many other things). Many years ago she taught me how to do it. Lots of fun.

I expect to gain about 5 lbs from this day. Tomorrow back to dieting. I will stay on plan for the next 5 days. Next wednesday I will be going off plan again. Tomorrow I would have to be either extremely accountable for my actions or a masochist to get on the scale. I am neither. So I will wait until Saturday.

oye! I was on plan today and then I got called in to a meeting...with food. LOTS of it! I had already eaten my sandwich, but I let myself have a small piece of brisket and a few bites of salmon. The problem is that every time I eat food from one of the catering companies, I get a mean sodium bloat THEN, I was in the meeting for almost 2 hours, and broke down and ate a heath bar cookie. I can safely say today has tanked, and I have to hope the sodium bloat doesn't show on the scale in the morning. But it will. It almost certainly will.

I'm moving on! I have 31 days until Vegas and I can drop the 5 I want to drop in that amount of time if I buckle down. I've done it before, I can do it again! Novangel we will both do this!

okay. I am going to have a glass of wine and watch tv in bed until sleep comes...goodnight all! I must add that I had one little airplane bottle of whiskey, compliments of DH (he means well, bless his heart). Dinner was an all natural chicken burrito from Costco. I had to haul my butt to campus to finish a group paper and powerpoint, so no exercise. There's always tomorrow...

belovedwarrior whoohoo - you are in free fall!

novangel - welcome back! Yeah, doing it again is hard to get started, but easier once you are in it I think.

mistiangel - welcome back!

diana - I have a weird fondness for Olive Garden. I usually get the soup & Salad because I am not terribly crazy about their pasta. But I will eat an entire vat of the salad. WITH the dressing. So I try not to go!

flower - la la la la la I can't hear you! all the food porn!

syksgirlsfv - I hate food in meetings because it is just sitting there staring at you and usually the meetings are not THAT distracting.

merowi - welcome

Well I HAVE to get going today. I wish costco opened early. I have been in a slump all week and procrastinating but I have to go shopping for work today. it can not be put off any longer. Will have to dodge the pastry store demons too. (I have to go there for work). This weekend will be crazy busy.

Yesterday - mmpf. Not great, not awful.

Good morning all,

187. Up a bit, but I know why, sodium and two burger patties when I should have only had one.

BelovedWarrior congrats on your losses you're doing great, I'm always trying to minimize, you'd think with all that effort my house would be empty...not so, I just keep chipping away.

To everyone struggling with regains and trying to find motivation to put the big push on to lose the weight, I totally feel your pain. We can be successful, we've done it before and will do it again. I think I have the spark again, so working with that to at least get a regular exercise routine going. Giving myself some good talking to, positive but realistic. So, wishing you the best and thanks for sharing, it helps to know I'm not the only one and helps to read how maintainers like Flower and Diana keep working their programs, it's not easy but it can be done. I always seem to fall into this trap that I can do something different once I get to goal, then slowly but surely my weight creeps up.

Syckgirlsfv I saw that story about the shooting, how scary someone you know was there, it is a crazy world, on our local news there's a story about 2 girls fighting on social media over this guy who is currently in jail, they met in person, the 16 year old stabbed the 18 year old in the neck and killed her. Unbelievably sad and senseless. Makes me grateful to not be living that kind of life...

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and weekend
