Things I say to myself all the time to stay on track:

If you're tired of starting again then you need to stop giving up!

Someone busier than you is running right now!

It takes 4 weeks of sticking to the plan for you to see a change in yourself, 8 weeks for your closest friends and family to see a difference, and 12 weeks for the rest of the world to notice.

Default It's HARD

Being FAT is HARD.
LOSING weight is HARD.
MAINTAINing weight loss is HARD.
PICK your HARD.

Just because you stumble and fall is no reason to throw yourself to the bottom of the canyon. Pick yourself up and keep trying.

Weight loss is a journey with no end. There will be road blocks, stop signs, and detours, but as long as you have gas in your tank, sit back and enjoy the ride.

You don't drown by falling in the water.... Get back up and keep trying...

It is a lifestyle, not a diet!

Get up more times than you fall down.

We/I will mess up, it is not a failure, it's a lesson, learn from it.

Be patient!

Life is not fair. Accept that. But do not let that defeat you.

My fave, "If you are not the lead dog, the view never changes!"

To me, that says, I am no longer a follower, I am a leader!

For many of us here, each day, will be a day of choices. Some days, we will make great strides, some days, we will hang on by the skin of our teeth, some days we won't, but we will get up the next day, and try again, because we are worth it!

It has been so helpful for me to remember just how long this is going to take - and that that's ok!
