I could scream. 145.2 this morning. I know it has to do with sodium because of that I have been eating more soups and yesterday I had a lot of bread with soup so I guess that made it go up. So frustrating.
I've been 140.4 then gone up, today 140.6. Week ends are hardest, most temptations.
So hopefully the next 5 working days will see me go under 140.0. Wish me luck😉
Don't know if anyone is still following this thread, but I'm a newly into the 140's person and looking for some encouragement/support as I work my way through the 140's. I'm 4 lbs from my first mini-goal which is 145 lbs, the weight at which I will "officially" no longer be overweight according the the arbitrary BMI scale. My final goal is 125-135 depending. I used to look pretty good at 135, but I carried a lot of muscle back then that maybe I won't have anymore and so I might go lower, it just depends on how I feel I look when I hit 135.
EagleRiverDee. I'm here! Congratulations on reaching the 140's! I'm moving between 144 and 145, but it would be helpful to have support and encouragement to reach the 130's.
Hi Sperrigo, thanks for the welcome! I've been struggling a bit recently and was stuck at 153 for like 6 weeks, I think because while I eat a lot less than I used to, I think my weight has now caught up to my caloric intake and so I need to drop it again...or increase my caloric burn, one or the other. I'm glad to finally be in the 140's!
146.8 today! I will officially say I am in the 140s.My goal was 145 when I started, but I have changed to 135 or at least under 140. I could go lower at my height, but I am pretty happy with my clothing size already. I think I will happy anywhere between 135 and 140.
Welcome to the 140's Miracle! My goal is to be at 132 where clothes fit me the best.
Dee, I had to carve 100 cals out of each day until my weight started dropping again, then I could add them back in and I continued to lose. I think I was holding on to water.
I'm heading to Seaside, OR today with my daughter. I'm packing my own meals as there is a kitchenette in the hotel room. I'm 145.6 today and my goal is to be in the lower 144's or high 143's when I come back on Sunday.
Whoo! I will join the 140s thread too. I've been 149.something and occasionally 150.something for a week or so now. I think, looking at the patterns, I'm ready for another big water drop in the next day or two so hoping for 148.something. We'll see. After a month or two of slower weight loss I'm switching up my exercise and seeing if that helps.
Thanks for the welcome Sperrigo.Glad to see EagleRiver and Prinessroja in the 140s!! I so enjoy reading the posts. It really helps to connect with others that know the struggle is real!😃
So I just have to pop in and share a big NSV from tonight--my husband and I went out tonight for our anniversary. We'd gotten a gift card to this new upscale restaurant in town, been saving it for this occasion, and have been really excited to go (we live in a tiny town so it was a big deal when it opened recently).
The food was incredible. Salad with lemon vinaigrette, artisan bread with honey butter, fettucine salmon alfredo, cheesecake... every.single.bite. was delicious. But guess what? I ate slowly and small portions and ended up being pleasantly full and not stuffed at all. Plus, we walked there and back (about 1.5 miles round trip). So nah, I didn't lose any weight today, but I did have a long-awaited celebration and enjoy it thoroughly without causing myself any problems. YAY!
Hi everyone! My knees have been acting up a bit lately so I need to change up my exercise program- I've been doing a lot of medium-impact cardio, I think for a while I will switch to yoga, pilates and resistance training until my knees are better. I've got a doctor's appointment today, a routine follow up appointment, but it'd be nice if she's say something about the weight loss, haha. Funny how they never seem to not notice that you gained weight, but you lose it and crickets. :-D
I hope everyone has a great day! I've got Friday off as well as Monday, so I'm looking forward to a four day weekend. First big break this year.
Hi EagleRiver I hope your doctor appointment goes well I'm jealous of how much you exercise😄.
