Weight thus morning was up .2. I guess I should be thankful I wasn't back up to 142..but I was 141.6. Guess my body is enjoying this weight. Still working out hard. Was super strict and exact on my calories today and worked out for an hour ... Hoping to see good results tomorrow.

Keep up the faith! As you await seeing 139.x - any NSVs? I have three!!!

-I work with a national network of people. We get together in real life occasionally. Last week we were at a meeting together for the first time in a year, I went up to her to hug her hello and she backed off like some stranger was accosting her. She didn't recognize me.
- This weekend the weather was AMAZING - I rode 30 miles Friday, 25 miles Saturday, 28 miles today. Wheeeee. It felt soooo good to be playing outside.
- Tonight - I decided to try on some jeans in my "someday" pile. OMG they fit. I am officially a size 12 petite classic fit Lee jeans! If someone had told me 12 months ago I would be wearing them today I would have laughed and laughed...

Night Awesome job on the NSVs.

The only NSV I can really think of is that my clothes are fitting better. I need to remember this is for a lifetime and stop depending on the scale to make me happy. As bad as I want to get down to the 130's I know it will happen on it's own time. Until then I'll just strive and push harder to get to my goal and appreciate how far I have come.

Ok I admit I had to look up NSV, NON-scale Victory I believe.

I weighted in at 144.8 so happy with that and have put in a good day today.

Love it when something fits again Nightowlrm.

Now here's my current worry. Years ago had a cyst on my back between my shoulder blades. It was dealt with and left a lump the size of a malteser. Last week somehow it has become infected and now is the size of a golf ball and is painful. Wondering if it's connected to weight loss?? Trying hard to get a doctors appointment, but in the UK the health system, well it's difficult to get an appointment. You have to phone at a certain time in the morning when I'm already into my first student's session. Their phone is always engaged and finally when you make contact all the slots have gone. It's not really something to go to A&E with. A&E = accident and emergency.

Snowpup: If anything I would think the cyst would make you gain weight because of extra water...but I'm not a doctor and don't know much lol. I really hope it goes away or you can be seen soon!

I'm super frustrated. Luckily for me there are no sweets to eat around me or else I'd be indulging right now. My daughter (who we are currently potty training) hasn't had an accident on the weekends for 3 weeks. Went to school this morning without a pull-up...and had an accident. Then my son came home with a bad color on his behavior chart...I'm just ready to go home shower and head to bed. But I know it won't happen like that.

My 6 year old son has been getting into some trouble at school...to the point where I'm out of ways to discipline him and nothing we do affects his behavior. i LOVE him to death but I really hope this is a phase and he eventually grows out of it.

Snowpup...ouch, that cyst sounds painful. I hope you get a slot. We have a 24/7 clinic a minute from my home, which is first come, first serve. I'm grateful for those clinics as I don't have to have an appointment, though I have to wait a long time for my number to come up.

Nichols...my daughter always had bad colors too in preschool through 2nd grade. I just focused on making sure she was learning to read and was keeping up in math. I figured somewhere down the road she'd grow out of her behavior issues. In third grade she settled down a bit and now in 4th grade she's having a pretty good year. The teachers have finally stopped tracking her behavior. I feel your pain...it's tiring, but kids will grow up.

Nightowlrn...kind of funny how she backed away from your hug! You've made a lot of progress in order not to be recognized!

I've been between 146-147 for a week, but my NSV is that my jeans got really lose at work today. I thought it was a fluke, but my workout pants were lose too when I got home from work. Hopefully the scale moves downward, but I'm still very happy I'm shrinking.

Weight went back up a pound. I just want to throw my hands up but I won't because I know it could be a lot worse then just a lb. Going to switch up my exercise today.

Well I did get to see a nurse at short notice on Tuesday morning. I think she could here the desperation in my voice. Prescription for fluxlocacillin for one week. Referred for minor surgery in April.
After 2 days on the antibiotics it's getting better bit by bit. Thanks for the sympathy 😊 Every bit helped.

I've managed to stick to my planned meals this week but have gone up 0.6 lb frustrated is my state of mind too.

Hope you've lost that pound Nichols.

It's great when cloths fit.

Good morning!

Nichols...Maybe you could ditch the scale for a while and measure yourself with a measuring tape instead. If we're exercising, we're losing inches we won't capture on a scale. A scale is only part of the truth, so it shouldn't have the total say in our progress.

Snowpup...I'm so glad you were able to get treatment for the cyst and you're on the mend. I hope you start seeing results on the scale, though NSV's are very helpful too when the scale is stuck.

I had been doing a lot of strength training lately to get toned up. Of course, the scale didn't budge as I gained muscle. This week I added more cardio days in to balance things out and the scale is slowly starting to move down again. My pants were getting lose in the thighs and now they're getting baggy in the butt. I've been so discouraged. I knew I was making progress, but at least it's now becoming a bit more visible.

I hope everyone has a fun OP weekend!

Very Bad Weekend which pushed me up into the mid 140s. I self-sabotaged by seeing 139 Friday morning and screwed up the rest of my weekend ending in feeling miserable and the scaled being no where near 139 anymore. Getting back on track today!

Nichols, I've been yoyoing too. Saturday I'd dropped to 144.0 then on Sunday went up to 145.4 and stayed there today. Today is probably my last chance to lose weight (I've really watched the calories today 770 only). For a while...

I'm about to go away for the next 13 days. Visiting inlaws in Scotland then on holiday to Tenerife. I know it will be hard to maintain good eating habits. I DO intend to try though. Wish me success!
I'm 5 days into my course of antibiotics, I'm off pain killers and the cyst is getting smaller. Thanks for your concern people.

Sperrigo the cardio excerises seem to be working for you, that's grand to hear. I guess it's getting the balance correct.

Anyone still trying to get out of the 140s?? Weighed in at 144.0 this morning. The last time I got down to the 130s..I self sabotaged and ate everything in site for 3 days straight...This time I plan on getting there and staying there.

I am still here...so much for my goals. Just too many life events since November to move the needle much. I moved my goal of 140 to June 2017. My mind and body are happy to be getting the brake. Glad to see you are in a downward trend.

This forum is great for me though. I almost thought F@CK it a few days ago, but I knew I was closer to 150 than 145 and didn't want to have to go back to the 150s thread. So, I passed on the huge calorie meal. How is THAT for a reason to avoid weight gain. hahaha

I'm still here as well. I finally got under 145, down to 144.2. My BMI is now at a healthy weight too. It feels good to be so close to the 130's...I haven't been down there in over 5 years!

Night: I am glad you pushed passed the high calorie meal. One day at a time!
Sperrigo: You are so close to your GW. & yay for the healthy BMI that is such a big accomplishment!

Woke up this morning up .2 lbs. 144.2 to be exact. 6.2 lbs until I'm at my monthly goal weight. It does feel great to be under 145 but I am selfish and really want to be out of the 140s. If I continue with the what I'm doing now it won't take no time..if I go back to what I've been doing...eat good..eat bad back and forth I'll be losing the same 4 lbs over and over again! Time to get on top of it especially with short season quickly approaching.
