I tossed my peanut butter into the trash when I began this diet the day after Thanksgiving. I was eating 2 pb and j sandwiches for lunch daily for a long time. I don't have bread now and try not to eat potatoes.

I do intend to go off this eating plan Christmas eve and Christmas day. We're going out to eat on the 24th and I'll be making my traditional tourtiere pie for dinner on the 25th. I'll also be having dessert both days. Hopefully I'll not do too much damage.

I get hungry and had a tiny piece of cheese to help with lots of crystal light. Supper was very light tonight. Tomorrow will be chicken and veggies for supper.

I'm on a non-elimination diet. I eat ice cream, peanut butter, peanut butter ice cream… it's all about those calories! I usually swing between eating healthier (more food for same amount of cals) and eating more treats (less food for same amount). I get sick of treats, eat healthier, crave treats, eat some treats, realize it doesn't fill me up or taste *that* great. Eventually I hope for an 80/20 balance of healthier food and treats, but as I'm losing, it's all about counting calories.

Hovering at 146.8 still.

You're SO CLOSE Nicholsfamily!! and wow you've come so far!

Sometimes working out bumps my weight up a little bit (retention from soreness/inflammation) which is so annoying.

146.6 this morning. Lol I am EDGING closer and closer… but very slowly. I wish I could make my deficit bigger but I'm just not doing it. -500 is about all I can do right now. I may go on a walk soon just because I'm about 60-70 calories over for the day (had a work lunch out, which I'm estimating at 1000 calories, even though I had a salad).

You're both doing so well. I know I'm losing this week which makes me happy. My deficit is also about 500 calories which equals a pound a week loss on average. It will take a while, but I will get out of the overweight zone and drop to a healthy BMI.

Best wishes for a great day.

146.2! So odd, my weight loss pattern has drastically altered. Normally I stay the same weight for a week, then drop maybe a pound or so. Since I hit 147.8, I seem to be losing at the same rate (more or less a pound a week) but doing it much more consistently day by day. Like losing ounces at a time instead of staying the same and then dropping.

It's interesting. I'm at a lower deficit and eating more (I've had a few maintenance days thrown in there) so I feel like maybe that's cajoling my body into dropping instead of holding, but at the same time, I feel like that would be more likely to stall my loss, not encourage it, and I know a maintenance day is technically neutral in terms of losing/gaining… sigh.

I'm exactly a pound lower than I was a week ago, though! So that's interesting. Definitely on track with my -500 cal deficit.

6.4 pounds to go, so another 6.4 weeks of this, but… oh well. (Yes something in me really wants to up the deficit so I can lose it faster. Slow and steady wins the race but the 130s are SO IMPORTANT TO ME lol).

My weight loss for one week is 1-1/2 pounds for a total of 5-3/4 pounds lost since the day after Thanksgiving. I weigh 145-3/4 and am very happy with my success so far. I will be slacking off a little until December 27th because I do intend to enjoy my sister's gift of banana bread and chocolate chip cookies she sent yesterday plus goodies Christmas eve, day and the 26th. Then it'll be back to serious business and my husband can have all the left over goodies to himself. My oldest daughter is having us over for a little buffet lunch on the 26th, so I'll be eating.

Keep up the hard work ladies. 139.6 this morning. But I'm almost positive I won't stay in the 130's due to christmas. I am bound and determine to stay under 140.8 and once christmas is over with I will get strict again and get to my goal weight.

Congratulations!! You are doing fabulously. It's okay - Christmas comes once a year after all! It's a good position to be in though.

I'm at 145.6. All things considered, it's fine. If I drop to .4 tomorrow, it'll be a pound lost this week. I've had a bit over a 500 cal deficit so I wish I would lose more than 1 pound.

After my sister's good home cooking earlier this week and Christmas eve goodies, plus a fast food meal, I'm at 147 this morning, which is a 1.25 pound gain. I'm sure I'll gain a bit more as today is Christmas and I'll be having dessert. We go to my daughters tomorrow and will enjoy her buffet. Then Sunday or Monday it's back my weight loss plan.
Congratulations to you all for being on this thread.
