Default Atkins Induction Day 193

Hi everyone.

Although I have not been posting, I have stuck with my plan 100% for 193 days now. Unfortunately I hit the dreaded inevitable plateau and for the last three weeks until this Wednesday I was not losing. Then a solution came to me. Although on Atkins my main emphasis is on carbs, calories still count. I lost a lot of weight but did not change my calorie goal. I was still eating like I weighed 307 lbs. So on Monday I reduced my calorie goal by 400 and on this Wednesday I started losing again. YEA!!. Had blood work done two weeks ago and my cholesterol numbers are perfect in spite of the fact that I am eating a high fat diet. My family doctor is pleased but she asked me to set my goal at 200 and evaluate it when I get there. I have adjusted it to that number.

Kelijpa Happy birthday on Tuesday ! I hope you enjoy the cake!

Larry, when I was losing a lot of weight I found that the low carb diet alone did not help at all. I had to combine it with a low calorie diet. I was amazed that you, and so many others, could lose weight with just the low carbs. contrats on finding the new way to continue.

Wishing best to everyone. Stay strong. you all do great <3

Snacks - 1 plain salad with sliced fajita veggies, an apple, 1 Butterfinger peanut butter cup.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Welcome back!

Calories for yesterday: Unknown
Weigh In: 168.8
Up: 3 pounds

My total gain for the weekend, so far, is 5.8 pounds. I wonder if I will have a next day gain. Hopefully not, but that usually happens, even if I am 100% back on plan.

No stretch last night or Oxycise this morning.

I am finishing up with Belleruth and getting ready to watch my Church program.

Have a great day!

November sees a change in my yoga & meditation routine - I am shortening my daily yoga set and planning to start c25k! Tomorrow I go running. It helps to write that out, because I had forgotten I wanted to do that, haha!

I do a daily 16:8 (ish) intermittent fast but today is my monthly 24 hour fast. I feel hungry (dinner is in 2 hours!!!) but not awful. I had a ton of positive feedback on my appearance today which helps keep me going. I try not to depend on compliments too much because eventually everyone will get used to my lower weight and stop mentioning it!

Hi all!

Larry congrats on finding the needed tweak, that's great.

Raisin cookies good luck with the c25k, I've done it a few times, I love it. Trying to keep going with the jogging through the winter, if it doesn't work out, I'll just do the c25k again in the spring and get back to jogging.

Diana thanks for the good wishes, funny we were in similar phases. We each had a piece of the cake and put it back in the freezer. We're watching the World Series, Hunter's on his pillow, sounds like he's snoring he's not a bob fan I guess. We've been doing better on the weekends, just trying to keep practicing moderation.

Flower thank you, hope things are going well, we're supposed to have some really nice weather this week. Hope you are too.

Best to all

Hi Everyone!

Welcome back, everyone!

Now I need to work on getting this gain off me because our Anniversary and Thanksgiving is coming up. It's always something.

Larry Great job continuing to work and tweak your plan.

Flower Has your friend arrived? I hope you have a nice visit.

Penny Great job with the candy.

Raisin5Cookies Good luck with your c25k.

Kelijpa Great job enjoying in moderation. I think that's key. Even though I have had a significant gain this weekend, DH even commented that I can't eat the way I used to. (That's a very good thing. ) I had much bigger eating plans for the fair but just couldn't handle it. DH is watching drag racing and Cody is sleeping on the floor between us. Did you have any kids come to your house for Halloween? If so, how did Hunter act?

Waving Hi all around! Enjoy your evening!

November 1st! WOW! This weekend was probably my first bad weekend in a very LONG time. I scared up pretty bad. I just got to keep reminding myself that tomorrow is a new day and I need to keep on keeping on. My goal this month is to lost 6 lbs. I'm not going to over do it and say 10 like I usually would because weightloss has slowed down drastically.

Back to work tomorrow! Going to get my water in and eat right and get some workouts in. I was 144.6 this morning which was REALLY low for me but I will be up tomorrow because of my mess up I'm sure!

Hope everyone had a great start to November and has anyone else been experiencing lady bug problems at their house? OMG. It is is AWFUL here! I think they are trying to take over my house. Remedies if you have?

B- peanut butter cocoa oatmeal
L- bean soup with beef and cauliflower
D- beef strips with leftover broccoli and cauliflower
S- apple slices
Also, a vodka lime drink.

Raisin: I've thought about doing C25K (I have a free app for it). Let me know how it goes and if it works, will you?

Congrats, Larry!

Diana: Thanks!

Nicolsfamily: Yep, I've had orange beetle problems, too. There's not really a fix for it. They just take over some areas and don't really leave (they don't have many natural predators). You can set traps, but they don't do much in my opinion. I never found a solution (other than to move). And they bite sometimes! Not fun.

Good morning all!

182.5 this morning, breakfast and lunch are packed. Did good with water over the weekend only missed one day getting it all in and got in half in that day.

Nichols I second Penny on the ladybugs, unfortunately, they seem to stick around until it gets cold again. One year it was so bad it was in the newspaper! We were wondering the other day why they come out like that after a cold snap then warm up. Strange, best of luck.

Penny I had bean soup yesterday, too, and bought a cauliflower

Hope everyone has a great day

This Morning: Oxycise Level 2 workout

Calories for yesterday: 1365 +
Weigh In: 167
Down: 1.8 pounds

Have a great day and start to your week!
