Hi all, I'm new to the forum. But I definitely need some support! In short I've gained 13 pounds since August 1st 2015. I was 10 pounds away from my goal, now I'm 23 pounds away. It's the darn nighttime eating! I plan on taking it one day at a time and I want to stop the nighttime snacking. So far for November, 0 nights without eating at night. I do exercise so I'm not worried about that (I'm a zumba instructor) I do Zumba 3 to 4 times a week. I do however need to start lifiting weights again. So that will be my goal for this month as well. Let's see how today goes!

Default Day 1 and 2- Start

So happy to find this thread! I tried to post yesterday, but my device was being wacky, haha. So hopefully this will post! Its nice to see that there are some people who want to support others regardless of their diet plan! Im trying to lose my freshman 15, that I have unfortunately kept on even though im almost done school.

Today I started my plan. I did not weight myself, because the numbers make me upset. However, i know that im usually around 124-126lbs. My problem isnt weight, its the EXTREME lack of muscle. My butt jiggles when I brush my teeth (eew, right?) and my jeans are getting so tight. My starting measurements are:

Butt: 39.5 inches
Thighs: 22.5 inches
Tummy: 34 inches
Arms: 10.5 inches

Those are my focus areas. I dont really care about my bust or calves or anything like that. Im focused more on the hourglass.

So now that i went through my goals, heres how my yeserday went!
I got a great night's sleep that night. For breakfast I had high protein oatmeal with blueberries and raspberries. I think there was sugar in it, it was kindof sweet. I'll have to check the box!

Snack: strawberries and blueberries
Lunch: sauteed spinach with lentils and mushroom
Snack: skinny pop popcorn, nature valley granola bar
Dinner: sauteed pork and peppers, small portion of ravioli, and a huge bowl of brussel sprouts

Caved in an ate potato chips when i was crying and freaking out over the fact that I had deleted an entire essay by accident, and had to redo it. Im in such a bad mood today because of that, and now im so behind on my course work. Im dong my best not to let that mishap ruin my diet.

Today has been good so far

Breakfast: banana with natural peanut butter,
Snack: sesame crackers
Lunch: In Progress, but Im having a salami sandwich, and plan to eat two clementine oranges

Hope your days are all going well! I really want to workout but I'm in exam season, and I literally cant spare two minutes! That is why i need to make sure that i am very careful with my food.


Oh! Also, I'm still in university, so I dont have a lot of time to workout, and I often eat on-the-go. I am going to stop that! I am going to prep my lunches in advance, and make sure that they are so delicious that I cant resist.

My workouts will consist of Winsor Pilates videos, and the Turbo Jam DVDs.
How is everyone doing so far?

I'm pretty sure I forgot to post here again yesterday... Well, I ate exactly the same thing as what I ate today.

B- pumpkin cinnamon oatmeal
L- potato pea soup with 1/2 slice Dakota bread and 1/2 slice cheddar bread with 1 tsp butter
D- Brown rice, tomato herb chicken, and steamed cauliflower
Dessert: 1 Butterfinger peanut butter cup

Lunch went well for me, which was a relief....to continue my daily meals....

Snack: skinny pop popcorn
Dinner: baked potato wedges, 2 chicken fingers, sauteed spinach with lentils and mushrooms
Snack: pretzel bagel with butter

Im not so happy about that bagel, but i didnt eat the whole thing. And it was so fresh and delicious that it was so hard to resist!

Im off to write another essay! I'm promising myself not to eat anything more tonight, no matter how frustrated that i get with this essay and the entire school situation!

Nicholsfamily I have delayed gains, too. It's a total pain because you are back on plan and hoping to start losing again. UGH!

L roasted veg with duck curry over top.
D two Tofurky, sauerkraut and guac.

Decided to try the Tofurky sausages and picked up several flavors. They are gluten and tofu and higher calorie than I'd like. not bad tasting.

Happy Birthday kelijpa

A good day today.

Lunch was a small salad with oil & vinegar plus a 9 oz rare sirloin steak.

Dinner was 9 oz roasted pork loin

Since I started Atkins I have gone from a 3X shirt size to a Large and from 50 inch waist pants to 42 inch. Feeling good about myself and I am beginning to believe that it is possible for me to get out of the obese category in the future.

146.4 this morning! I hate that it's going up I know it's because of the bad eating over the weekend hopefully it starts going back down soon though!
