Theresa, I'm so sorry you are experiencing foot and knee pain, but with diet alone you can shed a lot of weight, and from your profiles numbers it looks like you're doing it! Great job!
Perennial, I love Bargain Hunt! Now that you mention it, I haven't seen it in a while here though. If you did put on a little weight, just know that it's water weight gain and it will fall back off. It's no big deal. Just keep going! You are doing so well!
I am a 10/10 today! It's my Carb Day, and I've already been to the gym and gotten my workout in!
So I went to our family BBQ yesterday and went a little outside my points (it was GOOD!) but only by a few, and I still had all my weekly points left to catch me so it wasn't an issue. (Hopefully my body sees it that way too ) I'm fairly sure that i still ate way under maintenance.
Feeling a bit grr today as the scales say I have gained a pound! If its water weight, it needs to bugger off. If its fat, it needs to bugger off. Basically, it needs to bugger off. Hoping for a loss by tuesday!
Have been about 9/10 today, haven't done any exercise yet but ate 41/44 points and had a nice dinner of chicken and rice, yum.
I felt a little discouraged this morning because my weight loss seems to be slowing. Then I added my weight to this graph I made of my weekly weight loss and I noticed a trend. I only lose a little weight between the last Sunday and the first Sunday of each month but then I whoosh the rest of the month. That made me feel much better.
8/10 - Sundays are hard for me. They are both my longest works days and my shortest. Most days I start in the afternoon and then work until 9:30 or 10 at night. Sundays I work open to close but our store closes at 7. So I have a hard time figuring out meals because I generally pack my lunches to be a little richer in calories because that's all I get to eat while I'm on break and it has to keep me full until the next morning because I try not to eat when I get home. Sundays are a little different because I'm home so much earlier but I still need my usual lunches to keep me fueled through work. So when I get home I'm not always that hungry but then usually my family does a special dessert or something because that's what we've always done on Sundays. So while I'm generally pretty good about things, Sundays feel like 2 separate days wrapped together into one.
MsTibbles, I LOVE your new kitty cat ticker and your little progress mice! Don't you worry about that stubborn pound. That sucker's going down! Just look at how much weight you've lost since July 12th! That's awesome!
Leah, I can see why Sundays feel so "off" from the other days, but you cope with them well! And yes you do whoosh the rest of the month! I wish my weight loss would work like that!
Perennial, that water weight is going to drop back off before you know it! :
PrairieQueen, that's a busy day with lots of activity! Good for you! Yes, be sure to drink plenty of water so that you won't hold any!
Lovemylife, yay on getting that planning done! Have a great day!
As for me, I'm a 10/10 on eating but dragging a little bit physically, like a 7/10. I guess that means I need to get to the gym!
Jacqui hahaha thank you I'm so happy to finally have a sig. And I wasn't sure what emoticon to use for the progress... then I spotted the mouse and thought, "Aha!" I hope you are doing well today, hugs!

I feel great this morn! Had a great day yesterday visiting with my kids in Cinci while moving odds and ends of my youngest to her new place. We did lunch at an Italian neighborhood dive and I maintained (even though I wanted to pig out!). I drank loads of water and had an unsweetened tea. It paid off, because after two days of increase, I'm back down.

It's been a great morning so far. I woke up and did the Leslie Sansone 3 mile walk at home. It was a good workout. This week, I'm going to do a different workout everyday.
I'm really enjoying reading your posts. Today, my commitment is at a 9/10, which is better than for the last several days. I finally got a decent night of sleep (7 hours!) after a week of sleeping only about 4 hours a night. Sleep is so important. The only reason I"m not at a 10/10 is due to my migraine. My weight is down a few ounces today...not as much as I would like, but I"ll take it!
Leah, perhaps you can chew gum while everyone is having their desert on Sundays? Something I like to have for desert is frozen sweet cherries. I let them melt a little bit (even put them in the microwave for just about 10 seconds or so if I can't wait for them to defrost a little bit) and they taste really great. One cup of this really satisfies my sweet tooth...usually anyway.
Yesterday, I got my kids their favorite ice cream (a rare treat for them but it was to celebrate one of my kids' bday) and I didn't have any. I did go out for sushi and felt like I had a bit too much, so I was happy to see a bit of a loss on the scale this morning.
