Default Kind of a backhanded NSV

So, I outgrew all my super skinny clothes. Then last year I had my fat clothes. Well, I'm much above that now too. So, to get by, I went to Goodwill a few weeks back and picked up some shorts/skorts for doubly fat clothes. One pair fit perfectly, two were tight with a muffin top.

I wanted to wear one of the skorts 2 weeks ago, but the muffin top was too embarrassing and not hideable with the few shirts I have. Well, today I was desperate for shorts and pulled them on. They are still tighter than I like (10 pounds down), but no muffin top! So, at least my doubly fat skort fits enough to wear it!

And the first time in 10 months that the sizing is going in the right direction!

Nothing backhanded there! That's a bonafide NSV!

I think clothes are a huge deal with weight loss. They provide proof when it's hard to see it, providing a sense of accomplishment as well as helping us look better.

I said it before, but I lost a bunch, gained a little and am back at work. I was busting out of my size 14s and that was no small incentive to get back on tracK! There was No Way I was going up into a 16 again.

I have size 12s waiting to be worn and cannot go in the OTHER direction, for Pete's sake.

At ten pounds down from the 14 I'd gained, the two size 14s I couldn't wear anymore fit again. I am thrilled!

Clothes are, IMO, huge on the NSV scale.

They are huge for NSVs. I was, at my thinnest, getting into 8 pants/shorts, 10/12 dresses (bigboobs and large rib cage) but I'm now in 18s and those 18s are snug. I have fat clothes all the way down to those sizes now - not from saving them, but having to rebuy clothes on the climb up or else I would have to go naked.

I don't think I'll have the same thrill of getting out of women's sizes like I did the first time, but it will still be thrilling enough!

Low carb and reduced caloric intake and gardening for exercise. Five of those ten are for sure pure water from now depleting my glycogen stores. Maybe "2" is other weight lost - mixture of fat and muscle.
