Hi Everyone!

Today's workout was Grocery Shopping Max. I couldn't do any shopping on Friday night due to having to deliver a truck to a customer. You know about my drama from yesterday, so no shopping got done. So I had a lot to do today. I just finished up with everything and need to get ready for bed. It was a long day for sure. So, Shopping and Errand max was on tap for today. I usually break up my shopping since I have to shop at different areas, depending on what we need. I had to do it all today.

Kelijpa I'm glad your Dad is doing better from the vertigo episode. I hope he continues to do well. I forgot to ask, how did Hunter react when you picked him up from Hotel ala Doggie? I had to do some serious shopping today, too.

CoolMom How was the bike ride? We are total magnets for the high calorie foods when we go away. Enjoy it, though.

RetroRabbit Sounds like a good day for you.

Jadeneko Hi and welcome to the check-in.

Penny Welcome back from your trip.

Ian Thank you. I'm sorry about the stress you are going through. I hope the visit with your children goes well. Wishing you the very best.

Mossy Thank you. I will start dealing with the insurance and all the nonsense tomorrow.

Waving Hi all around! Enjoy your evening!

Checking in after a very long day.

Today's exercises made up for all my eating yesterday. From 8am to 5pm I was walking, pulling two kids in the bike trailer all over Tokyo, or climbing steep shrine steps. It was fantastic and I am sore.

Foods:

B egg and zucchini on toast, two mini sausages
L ginger pork, various sides I know not, rice, two pieces of fresh tuna from the fish market, homemade ginger ale and an ice cream puff.
D coffee with milk, cheese and honey bun, curry bean filled fried bun thing.

Diana, you mentioned doggy hotel and attached to our aoartment here is a business that reads "doggy hotel and salon." Hehe. I've seen a few french bulldogs here, a breed I rarely see at home.

Ian, sorry about the arguments with the ex. I hope you guys can work something out amicably.

Checking in :-)
It has been a great month for me.

I have committed to an exercise program and am very disciplined in my activity.

I have started focusing on nutritious foods instead of anything I can consume quickly. So I have slowed down my eating habit and am trying to be more mindful when eating and focus on the eating instead of being distracted.

Have a great day :-)

Hey guys!
Good work everyone
Had a very successful day today. Did an hour of exercise, the most I've done in about a month
Diet wise - was also pretty good. Chicken breast cooked in water, low carb bar, oat bran, and 2 litres of water. Considering I went to the movies I'm pretty happy I opted for the low carb bar and not a huge packet of m&m's like I would have done previously haha!

Hi everyone...may I join in?

A bit about myself....I'm a 61 year old farmwife. I love to garden and the outdoors. I show miniature horses and live a blessed life. My weight has crept up over the winter (I love to bake and cook) and now I am motivated to lose it. I like to weigh in on Saturday. We had a very long winter here, but now Spring is here and it's time to get moving!

Spent the weekend celebrating my friends 49th birthday and writing a depressing paper on Infant Mental Health Challenges.. so I didn't check in here, sorry! Yes, there was Cake. Yes, there was Cheese Fries & Coke. Yes, a lot of Coffee & Cream. But it's over now and I am OK. Time to go back on plan.

Weigh in this morning 236 pounds.
Had a strawberry smoothie for breakfast.
Planning a walk today.

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday to everyone. I hope all are doing well. I am staying on track and moving forward. My diet is not perfect, but it is very much improved and my blood sugar numbers are good. I've lost about 6-7 lbs since I started my new medication (17 days). I'm 'THIS CLOSE" to a new decade.

ARGH! 4 pounds of water weight to lose! why don't I learn? Oye! LOL because Vodka. ha ha.

Well, back on track today. TOM finally showed up after being 37 days late! No wonder I'm all jacked up in the water retention department. BOO. School starts tonight - tonight's class is Taxation of Individuals.

SO:

B - belvita (went to Costco!)
L - bbq chicken chopped salad (220 cals)
S - dried apricots
D - pork or steak from last night - DH decided it's time to get grilling again

no exercise because of school. Tomorrow we'll ride 20 miles after work.

Thanks Diana and CoolMom. God I would be eating so much great fish if I were in Japan. That would literally be my day. Waking up. Working out. Eating fish. Working out. Eating fish. Shopping for canned fish to take home. Repeat.

Down 1.8lbs today to 174.8lbs.

I am learning a few new tricks.

First, getting enough sleep really does seem to affect my weight.

Secondly, if I exercise hard and don't eat back (which is hard to resist sometimes) then the weight does come down.

Anyway, breakfast was sardines, eggs and razor clams.

Lunch was fish and salad.

For exercise, I did 60 minutes weight training after breakfast and ran 4.5 miles before lunch.

I fly home tomorrow to see my kids later in the week. First stop is my mum.

I am excited and scared.

Another good day!
I wound up sleeping in to 7:30 (I wanted to be up earlier, I am a morning person) so I skipped the jog in the morning and headed to the dining hall for breakfast. I went to the gym and did elliptical for 50 minutes in the afternoon instead, so that should mean I burned around 2300 calories.
I also got my spiralizer in the mail today! I used it for dinner and spiralized a zucchini for some 'pasta'- not as good as real pasta (it's hard to beat), but still pretty tasty and is the equivalent of eating a salad!

B: Granola and soy milk, fruit (400)
L: salad with falafel, hummus, and tahini sauce (1000)
s: apple (1100)
D: zucchini pasta with sauteed broccoli and onions and tempeh (1500)
s: some chocolate chips (1600)

So a 700cal deficit!

Tomorrow's my busiest day, so I doubt I'll work out and will probably have a large breakfast to get me through my first two classes before lunch.

Retro, check those calories on the elliptical. 2300 seems an awful lot. I probably get through about half of that on a 50 minute run.

And how many apples are you eating for 1100 calories? Same with chocolate (dare I ask?)

Sorry to be a pain in the @rse but I want you to get the math right if you are calorie counting.

Ian, the fish market was absolutely huge! Fresh tuna from the market was delicious.

We are having a bit of a down day. Cleaned the apartment, doing laundry. I made breakfast in (eggs, veg, toast and sausage) and we'll venture out for lunch.
