Hey team!

I am still madly reeling from the Backstreet Boys video! I posted a pic of me in the snow with BSB gear on because they want pics of people watching the movie AND THEY COMMENTED ON IT! OMFG I AM DYING!

And, today is official weigh in weekend! My goal was to be between 165 and 159 and I am at 159.9 as of a few minutes ago! I was 162.7 last week when I cheated (as I only aim to weigh in once a month) and I am really proud of my progress!!!

My goal for February will be to be between 154 (healthy BMI) and 150. I know I can do it with the love and support from you all and, of course, the Backstreet Boys!

Feb plan of action is: net 1200 cals a day, work out 15 times (still developing the gym as a habit and dont want to set myself up for failure) and I am adding booze back in this month, so I need to pay attention to that.

LET'S DO IT!

170.8lbs today.

I have had a busy day doing chores and preparing for a job interview (internal) on Monday. I have also been cooking for a superbowl potluck I will be going to tomorrow and reading up on the rules of American football. I still do not know them after ten years of living here. To the potluck I will bring vegan burgers. I am not sure how much I will eat though.

Anyway, breakfast was sardines, eggs, razor clams, smoked oysters and oats.

Lunch was octopus, mussels, squid and smoked oysters.

For exercise, I ran 7 miles. I am training for a half marathon on March. So no weights today.

Feb 1/15 original goal 144

Might be a tall order as 144 is my magic stall out weight but I'm up for it!

Hey everyone! Yay new thread!

On plan day today! Going to see a parade in a bit!

W- 198.8
B- 1/2c yogurt, 1/2 c blueberries, 1oz walnuts, coffee with sugar and almond milk
S- 1 oz benitos, 1 oz mozzarella cheese
L- Leftover Chicken Quinoa Pasta w/steamed broccoli
S- Apple and carrots
D-Turkey tacos w/homemade salsa and 1/4 avocado

Tomorrow is a rest day but I'm helping a disabled friend clean her house so I should still get a little activity in.

I decided on my next weight loss goal and it's by my standards (my standards include never making weight loss goals, haha) pretty ambitious. I want to be 175 by my birthday at the end of April. Which is about 24 lb in 12 weeks! I really hope I can do this!

Hope you're all having a great night!

Hi Everyone!

Got my laptop on my lap and watching the UFC fights. I think the women are next! DH went to bed early because he is getting up early in the morning to go bird hunting. Before he went to bed he told me to "keep it down in there" and "no yelling". I told him to leave me alone or I would come in there and wear him out! Just kidding.

Who is watching the SB and who is watching the Puppy Bowl?

Diana--what is the puppy bowl? Sounds like my thing! Enjoy the fight! I watched the Raptors win and the Leafs lose tonight

Ohclementine--good luck with your goal! My goal of 139 by March 1 is ambitious for me based on my history too, but I don't get discouraged by date based goals not being met so I might as well go for it! How about you? If you don't make it on time, do you get down?

I had a really good day. Work felt good, practice felt good, I had a nice long chat with my dad...of course I'm still worried, but there is nothing to do at the moment. The enhancement I had done to my oboe feels great. I'm nt looking forward to the visitation and funeral this week but there it is.

Fluffypuppy I'm glad you had a good day and your Dad is doing well right now. Here's info on the puppy bowl. This year a local puppy is in the puppy bowl. I think it's Marley.

Hi I read posts but its 4am so I am just going to post a little bit.
Diana, glad that TTOM is shorter. Sorry the pain is still there. I remember that all too well
Fluffy there is the puppy bowl and also kitten bowl Glad you are feeling a bit better about how your dad is doing. And glad you feeling better in general. Although I do know funerals are hard

Amethyst, sounds like you did great, 1200 calories are a lot better than what could have happened

Northern, you are on a roll. Back street boys. And weight loss. You are really doing great !

After 3 days of dieting I am back to the weight I was at before I cheated. It used to be that I recovered from a cheat day in 1 or 2 days of dieting. I think cutting back on the thyroid bio-identical has made the weight loss more difficult. But this was the doctor's instructions.

Anyway, today was about 1200 calories. I ate about 100 worth of samples. So it increased the intake for the day. Tomorrow will be worse if I go to Costco. I wish I could find a way to get off of the cocoa. A cocoa intervention. Maybe this weight is my new default low through the winter and I just have to accept the current new low is going to be 4 lbs higher than last year. And when I cheat it will take a few days to recover.

I hope you all have a great sunday, weather you watch the superbowl, puppybowl, kittenbowl or salad bowl. I hope you have fun.

Hello All,

Sorry I ended up MIA in last month's thread. I was notified that my position is being made redundant at work last week, so I'm feeling a bit down and cheated, however I've stayed on plan the whole time! This is the first time I've EVER experienced major stress in my life and not resorted to food :-D

Today: 1192 calories and lots of incidental exercise

Last night I added on: Twists section from Yoga Zone for a Strong and Healthy Back

Calories for yesterday: 1590 +
Weigh In: 171.2
Down: .2

Hopefully yesterday was my last day of TTOM.

Have a wonderful day!

FluffyPuppy and Finch

Whew, major up swing this weekend, we decided to keep Sunday as our fast day so went for wings and beer yesterday, had the chips and dip, too, so am so ready for the fast today, 169.6, so much sodium. We did walk the rail trail.

Big snow storm predicted, so will be getting some exercise with that, 8-12 inches predicted so may be getting out the snow shoes tomorrow.

Diana I think it's cool you like the UFC, is that from all your kickboxing training?!

I find it amusing they're saying the major snow storm coming should make conditions that the groundhog won't see his shadow, so big snow means early spring...well, I hope that's right.

Enjoy your day everyone, will probably watch a little of the game, going to try and get in a good walk before the storm.

Best to all

*wave* I'm here, I'm here!

Been pretty busy, have a research paper due for school tomorrow. Been managing to get my exercise in despite the stress and I've been stress eating a little bit (you know that citrus, I allow myself to stress eat those a bit).

Went to say bye to our vet yesterday as she is moving and the vet's office had a little party for her. Then went to Whole Foods to pick up some things and it was so crowded, forgot today was the super bowl.

B: Swiss style muesli
L: (tbd - chinese leftovers)
D: (tbd - brown rice, beans, kale, guacamole)

Exercise - at least 30 minutes of something.
