Novangel--no heat! I worked for a week in a basement that was freezing and then quit. Are you a hairstylist? Dog grooming is my other trade (when I'm not teaching music). Working with water in the cold is even worse.
Enjoy your break guilt free.
Yes, I'm a stylist but luckily I only work at this particular location on Fridays. They are running 2 space heaters but it doesn't do much with all the windows. They told me it won't get fixed until after Christmas or New Years!! Good luck getting me to work there if it's freezing on Friday. This is the midwest, it gets below zero in January. Idiots.

Diana, I had the prime rib. No regrets.

Oh wow, this thread is so active, which is great!

Yesterday was an okay day, I ate well, but didn't get to the gym. I took my dog on a quick walk, and other than that, it was a pretty lazy day.
I weighed in at 177 today though, so that's -1

I had a bowl of cereal with a banana for breakfast. I think I'm going to take a hot bath, dry off a bit, then try to rake my parents' yard because I know if I don't do it, it won't get done. I'll go to the gym this evening for a bit, too.
It seems so easy to make good changes when I'm at my parents'. Maybe it's because I'm always bored and get absorbed in TV shows or because I have my parents to take me to the gym and actually have time for it. I really hope I can keep this up when I get back to school though.

Going to the parents later today. Renovations under way here. It's noisy and annoying but I'm dealing.

coolmom - the Belvita do fill me up enough for a few hours. I like them a lot because they are easy and tasty.

I actually rode 15 miles last night and burned almost 900 calories...which is good because I caved and had a few drinks with DH! Water seems to be coming off today, though

B - Belvita
S - blackberries
L - organic baked potato w/cottage cheese and broccoli
D - thinking of carnitas, but not sure exactly.

bike ride tonight - 11 miles.

The first chunk of the day was spent watching Revenge on Netflix, but then I folded laundry and listened to music and danced while I did it, then started cleaning my room (which is a huge project). I went to the gym for an hour too, and now am home and not really hungry for dinner.

Good Morning, Everyone!

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and the best during your holiday celebrations. I appreciate my check-in buddies and the support you have given me and for having a place to post my daily accountability (and rants ). I am going to try to keep my food in moderation. I won't be able to workout, though, so the food is the only thing I will have control over. <-- I need to continue to work on keeping control over the food and not allowing the food to control me. Wishing you peace, health, happiness, and blessings in the New Year! Stay safe, have fun, and I will see you soon. I will be taking my laptop but not sure about getting a signal/internet connection while on the top of a mountain.

My weight stayed the same this morning, which is good considering eating late and lack of sleep. Weigh In: 167.6

Syckgirlsfv - I totally love the Belvitas as well. I am one of those folks who gets nauseous if I eat first thing in the morning, and I can throw a pack in my scrub pocket and go to eat them when I sit down to chart after rounding on all my patients. I might not eat them till 10-11, but then they hold me well until lunch.

My other go-to work breakfasts are nipping down to the cafeteria for an egg white omelet or a couple hard boiled eggs, or bringing instant oatmeal and putting a tablespoon of peanut butter in it.

No running outside for me today... the wind literally is trying to knock me over. Treadmill it is!

Hope everyone has a great day.
