Hello everyone! I am also looking to get out of the 170's. Right now I am not quite into my 170's (I am 180.4) I want to try and maintain my weight through the holidays, after Christmas it is on like Donkey Kong! I have this whole wardrobe of beautiful dresses that I don't fit because of all the weight I have gained. I have lost about 50 lbs so far. I need to lose about 50 more before my month stay in Tokyo next year. My goal is to get to 178 before the 20th, that is when the party's start and they don't end until the 29th. I know I am going to bouillon up, but hopefully it will be mostly water weight. I am working on being under 180 before the years end. Start the year off with a good start. This group is awesome!
Another 1.5 pounds weight loss this week = one step closer to getting out of the 170's. Have a three week old baby and its nice to say before pregnancy I was in the 170s and I am now still in them

I'm back again (I keep coming back and then disappearing, and coming back, etc., but hopefully this time I'm staying!).
I'm not sure if it's due to water weight or the scale, but I apparently now weigh 178 when my scale at home tells me I'm at 170 (I'm at my parents' for now). Either way, I'm a little overweight, and want to change my habits and become healthier.
I'm getting so frustrated with myself. When I was in high school, I ate so well and worked out 5 days a week. I used to bike to the gym, bank, or grocery store. I had so much energy.
Now, I barely workout, I eat so poorly, I'm stressed out all the time, and exhausted all the time. I'm sick of it. I want to get back to how I used to be.

I really wreaked it this past 2 weeks. I am sure I am not under 180, maybe some where in the high 180's. I am doing my best to get back down to where I was. No more binges no more wine. Exercise and whole foods are now my focus. Today is my second day down of success. I am cheering for all of you!

My New Year resolution is to be more organized in the mornings which includes making exercise a morning priority. I was planning on going to the gym very early before work but my 4 year old was up all night with a stomach bug. Yuck! So I think I got maybe 3 hours of mediocre sleep. However, I am determined to get my workout in & will go during my lunch hour.
well, I was in the 170's yesterday but I'm 180.2 today. Not too bad considering it is Monday (my worst weigh in of the week usually) Need to get back on 3FC and be accountable.
newbies and so good to see you guys, lotsakids and nonameslob!! Seems like a lot of the old-timers have dropped out of these forums. How has everyone been doing in the new year?
I have to admit that I haven't been doing well. I had the flu for a week over Christmas, and then still weak last week. Only made it to the gym twice in those two weeks. Out of my routine, so ate a ton more. Especially sweets, a few binges. I am afraid to weigh. Weighed in at 170 on Dec. 28, but have gone over calorie all but TWO DAYS since. Way over. I am sure I put on at least 2 - 3 pounds. But back at the gym today and back on track. Going to get two back-on-track weeks under my belt, so to speak, before weighing again.

After the holidays I have gained 10lbs Back into the 180's...hopefully in a month or two I will be back down in the 170's. I have 74 lbs total to lose.
I am cheering you all on!
So last summer I hit 168...got overly confident, started grad school and now I'm at 179 =(
SO! I made a new years resolutions to take better care of myself, and also make better use of my $$$$ tuition and utilize the gym! I weighed in at 181 over the holidays, but I think I lost some water weight, so I'm around 179 now.
I go to school with some VERY fit people, so I'm really trying to adopt some their healthy habits and be somewhat healthier weight by summer time!!
The last 170s thread helped me quite a it, so I'm ready to start again with all of you!!
