Thanks ladies!

Wow. I just love lifting. I lost more off my waist!!! 33.75 in! Last time it was that was when I was like probably 15 or so lbs lighter? Just guesstimating here. Guess my lifting from before I derailed is still paying off too. Just twice a week and 9 lbs gone! (Lots of that is wheat belly. I've been mostly gluten free for ~2 weeks).

Yay! It was 42 inches the beginning of May. It's hard to write that down but I guess now that it's better, it's ok now haha.

Yay to lifting! That's awesome Hi! One of the few other female lifters at the gym came up to me and told me how awesome I was for going every day and my dedication and how great I looked. You should see her arms, they're incredible. It was so nice of her to say that and now I have a lifting buddy!

Yay Nicki! I'm so glad you have a lifting buddy! It feels so good to get compliments like that. You really do look amazing!
My lifting buddy from last time now has 4 kids and is too busy to come with me, but my hubby just joined so maybe we can arrange our schedules and meet there sometimes

I have no idea how I let myself detail like this and so fast. It's so weird. One of my old favorite thing used to be feeling the bump/muscle on my outer arm. It's never bulky, just defined, and makes me feel amazing. I can start to feel it again! I'm so happy!

173.6 today. Looks like I'll be sitting here for a while. I'll just wait for another whoosh. Should only be another month if past experience dictates.

On the topic of wheat/gluten, I have a question for anyone who has done gluten free currently or in the past. I'm going on a trip where we need an easy lunch almost daily that can be unrefrigerated for hours and be eaten with hands (and we will have no microwave/stove/etc. at any time). One person coming recently went gluten free, and she's trying to figure out what to do. I thought I'd ask around here. Normally we pack sandwiches. We likely won't have any gluten free bread where we're going.
Anyone one have ideas for her lunch?

Penny-I'd probably just wrap the same fillings in giant romaine lettuce leaves. Will you have ice packs hopefully? It's not quite as filling as bread, so she'll need an extra veggie or fruit. Lara bars are super easy & don't go bad haha

HIHeart, I don't know if we'll have ice packs. Unlikely when we're walking. I'll see if she knows about Lara bars. I hadn't thought about lettuce! My only concern is that with the unlikeliness of ice packs / coolers, the lettuce may wilt (it'll be in the 90s or higher).

Ah yes. Do you guys do pb&j then? Let me think. I usually pack salads. I'm sure there's something

Eta:
Trail mix
Popcorn
Beef jerky-it's hard to find a gf one, but they're out there. I think i found Target brand was years ago

Kinda weird but I guess I'd do something like that for hiking without icepacks

HIHeart, yes, we normally do things like PBJ that don't need refrigeration. I like the idea of trail mix and popcorn; I would eat that too! Thanks! I was also considering individual peanut butters and sliced fruits/veggies that would hold up in the heat.
Beef jerky has gluten??? Wow, never would have guessed!
Thanks for your help!

Hi! I've been lurking for awhile, thought it was about time I posted.

I finally got into the 170's a few days ago and weighed in at 177.8 today. So excited!!! But..already I'm eager to see the 160s.

i don't weigh daily, but I'll be checking in every couple of days or so.

Welcome Kay! Sounds like you came flying into the 170's!

I'm up a pound. Not really sure why. Could just be from working out/ remodeling/ painting. I've been redoing our guest bath and boy am I sore!

174.8 today yippee!!
TOM is coming next week. I'm going to enjoy this low because it's not going to last with TOM due soon. I'm stuck with a miserable migraine that will probably be here until Mon or Tues
How's your new diet plan from your dr going Nicki? Are you feeling any more comfortable with it?
