Good Morning Chicks. We're in the middle of harvest and I help keep everything running smoothly(it seems there is no time for me). My diet got pretty weird, so Sunday I started a food journal to help with accountability. Nice to see the progress everyone has made. Looks like we'll have a graduate soon (maybe three). I hope I can catch this (losing) streak.

Weighed in at 164 this morning.

MauiKai, similar weirdness has happened to me in the past. I was plateauing hard, and so in frustration took a "day off of the diet", and the next day broke plateau. I am not sure why this happens, but every once in a while it is nice to know that a "day off" will not break progress, and may in fact contribute to it. So long as the day off is truly occasional! :-D

Workinglikeadog what are you harvesting?

MauiKai I love that. Plateau busting cheesecake. Brilliant! Hmmm. I think I might be stuck...

Morning Chicks, weigh in at 163.5 this am.

Chub, Wow, you are sooooooo close. You'll have to find or start that 150's thread. We harveted camelina(the better flax), just finished dry land wheat, going to start our irrigated wheat today and about a month from now or a bit longer will finish the year harvesting safflower(sold to make oil). We have done better than anticipated with no spring or summer rains.

Maui, so funny that you lost weight eating cheesecake. I have to stay clear of that dessert, cause I have a hard time stopping ---too yummy.

super B and pigeon, this group is really in sinc(well with Toms, lol.)

super B, Maybe I need a promise of new boots or shoes when I get to the 150's too. I have used this method before, new clothes = good. motivator. Hum

WOOHOO! I will still watch this for a couple of days, who knows where these numbers bounce. But I've touched the 150s! This feels especially good as last night I fought off a major urge to binge. So happy!

And THANK YOU so much for support through the 160s. It's been such a great healp. <3

Way to go pigeon! Hopefully, the rest of us will be following you soon! :-D

workinglikeadog, I may have to go shoe shopping out of necessity, since the majority of my weight loss seems to be from feet and fingers. lol Feel free to go to the belly, weight loss!

Once again, this mini-whoosh brought to you by cake...chocolate this time. WTH??? Is this some sort of indication that I need some carbs?

I seem to be on a time delay. By that I mean I eat a treat and the next few days eat really, really well to make up for it. But the day after the treat, or maybe even a couple of days after, the scale keeps going down. Then a couple of days later, when I've been eating well, it suddenly stalls or goes up. So I get frustrated and eat another treat, and the next day the scale goes down. Rinse and repeat.
