Talking Diet tips? Little or big

Things that work for me. Some are no brainers but some ppl may need reminders of them. Here's mine...

Load your plate with veggies ON THE SIDE. Eat them first then eat the rest of your meal. That way your more full of the good stuff first. I find if the veggies are mixed in, I eat more "bad" stuff.

If you're craving a sugary drink, quench your thirst with water first then take a sip of what you want for the taste. Save you calories but still get what you want. I rather do this than water my juice down or go without that special drink. That way I don't feel like I'm depriving myself something good. Which for me hinders my progress.

That's my tips for now, what are yours?

I find that a warm cup of spiced tea in the afternoon is comforting and feels like a sweet treat.

Sometimes just using a smaller plate helps me.
Using mio to flavor my water helps me to drink more water.
For some reason, using a straw helps me to drink more water, lol.

I had to start thinking of food as fuel for my body, and realize some fuel is better than others.... rather than thinking of it as something to turn to for comfort or entertainment.

I have had a horrible relationship with food all of my life, so staying mindful of that is what keeps me going. When I forget, I gain the weight back because food becomes what I turn to when I'm emotional, stressed, or bored.

Raining: yes, I love mio. I mix them sometimes too, like the strawberry and lemonade. I like plain water just fine, but I find that adding a little flavor helps me to drink more and not get bored with it.

I find the absolute most important thing for me to do is track what I am eating on paper. It helps SO MUCH. It always makes a big difference, for me anyway.

what helped me the most is 24 hour fasting. I do it morning to morning. Once a week. You wont believe how healthy my mind works after 24 hours. I physically do not have any cravings of bad food since i started weekly fasting.

Plus daily treadmill to tone the body. I started JUST on healthy diet and noticed even though i lost weight i didn't like the look of it. So to tone the body i have to exercise daily.
For me tone body is better looking then just thinner body

Hannah, go register at my fitness pal then dl their app. That visual of my calories seems to help me more than writing them down for some reason. I love it

Unwanted, do you exercise on that day? I wouldn't be able to do both on the same day!

That's awesome satinpumkin!

When it comes to late night eating as so many seem to reach for junk food late into the night - sometimes that's just out body asking for sleep. When we get tired out body kind of tells us "hey, I'm exhausted, either put me to bed or give me more energy to keep going" and that's why we turn to late night snacking. When I crave food late at night I just go to bed
