Thank you. I am so tired of Cancer being a part of my daily life/conversations. I have gone through this since 2007. I am so over it!

Default Weight Loss is Slowing

After a winter of doing cardio, my weight loss is slowing and it is time to change things up. With our new contract at work, I will now have free membership to the fitness facility on campus. My plan for Monday is to get things lined up to start using that facility after work on Tuesdays and Thursdays to start strength training, then after two or three weeks, adjust to a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule. I hope it will jump start my weight loss again as well as my enthusiasm. I've been in a funk ever since having a bad cold and sinus infection in February/March.

Good morning all!

Diana, big hugs for the loss of your friend.

worththeffort2, good luck with the new plan and getting out of the funk. I'm trying to tweak things to lose again as well.

Breakfast today 283 cals:
Egg, spinach and goat cheese on an english muffin
Coffee with milk

I need to do my Friday weightlifting today, since work ran too late yesterday.

just want to say good morning sunny and gorgeous already and it's only 9:30 - birds are chirping, sun is out...it's going to be in the 90's this coming week!

had my coffee and getting ready to go get the oil changed in my truck - maybe a tire rotation, too. Probably take a long bike ride with DH later

I'll probably have an egg on some of Dave's killer bread, the Power Seed kind. it's good! I am going to make an effort to go lower carb and see if I can kickstart my losses...cuz they just aren't happening right now. When I go low carb I see good ones. I'm also waiting on an order for Garcinia Cambogia...got a good deal and want to see if it really works. However, I know not to be too disappointed if it doesn't!

hope you all have an awesome day!

Our friend Danny passed away early this morning. I am glad he is no longer suffering. It has been a long, hard fight for him. I have had a difficult time with his Cancer diagnoses/treatments. It has felt like, to some degree, that I was reliving what I went through with both of my parents.

Diana, so sorry for your loss.

Diana, I'm so sorry for your loss, too. Danny's with God now, and doesn't have to suffer anymore.

Diana, please take care of yourself. What you went through with your friend is very hard on your body.

Me too Diana, It seemed like a very tough situation. All universal mercy and grace to you and him. You seemed like a good friend to him. I'm sure it was very difficult to go thru. (HUGS)

Hi Everyone!

Thank you for the support and good thoughts.

Berry I hope you start feeling the results of the thyroid meds quickly.

Miniapplecocoa
Hang in there with the meds. Hopefully it will just take a little time to adjust. Also, as things improve, maybe you can come off the meds.

Tyla Good job with your choices at The Cheesecake Factory. I have never been there but I have heard there are a lot of temptations.

Radiojane
Enjoy your weekend and trip to the city.

Worththeeffort I hope the new gym membership will help jump start things for you.

CoolMom Did you get that weight lifting workout in?

Syckgirlsfv Good luck with the lower carbs. I hope it helps. Keep us updated with the Garcinia Cambogia.

Thinin08
Thank you. Welcome to the check-in.

Tyla Thank you. I hope your day was a good one.

Having a pretty typical weekend, eating off plan, today better than yesterday, got in my water and exercise today. Ready to get back to it tomorrow.

Diana not sure what's going on with the TOM, it was about every 3 1/2 weeks, now it's been about 5 weeks, I guess that's the way it's going to go...

good night all

Good morning all, finally sunny here, but dang chilly, started off at 27, can't wait to get outside, maybe when it gets up to freezing seriously nice day in the forecast, planning to spend as much as possible outdoors.

Back on track today. Ready for the new week, hope everyone has a great Sunday

Good Morning, Everyone!

Thank you, again, for the support.

Last night I added on:
Strong Knees - Lower body stretch section
Legs Up the Wall Yoga Pose while listening to mountain stream CD 10 Minutes

Yesterday, I had too many calories, especially for a non-workout day. The good thing, is that I did not turn into an eating machine, like usual, when I have alcohol. My mind did wander that way, I have to admit, but I stayed strong. My lips are starting to flare up more from the angioedema. I think I will take an extra antihistamine tonight to help with the reaction.

Calories for yesterday: 1865 +
Weigh In: 164.2
Up: .2 --> This is purely from the wine. I probably would have dropped the water weight from the sodium filled collard greens from Friday if I didn't have the wine.

Enjoy your day!
