Good morning ladies! I've been trying to lose weight for about a month now and I am having no success. I hope some accountability and support will help me not get so discouraged! Keep working ladies

Today I will be stuck in my car at an Animal Rescue Center while my son does his volunteer training; he needs to get his necessary high school volunteer hours. I'd like to volunteer too, but instead I'm going to be sitting in my car doing my Spanish and Bible classes' homework for three hours, because I am a week behind in all five classes. I need to be held captive to force me to slow down enough to get the homework done. If I get a lot of work done in the first two hours I might go for a walk. This animal center is in my favorite neighborhood, actually, where I would love to live. I could meander about and gawk at the opulent homes.

I wonder how I lost so much weight while away? I ate a lot of fish. But it was fresh stuff, not canned. I also had big breakfasts and big dinners, skipping lunch. I normally skip dinner.

I'm willing to bet the canned fish has a much higher sodium content.

down 1.6 this morning. already did my swim and still have the dog to run tonight. Breakfast was bacon and eggs and supper will be chicken breast and broccoli. I have made a conscious effort not to buy cheese or mayo or all the sauces I usually have too much of and I hope that speeds things up.

Yesterday's Calories: 1529
Today's Weight: 176.6
B - Crunchmaster Multigrain Crackers + Naked Kale Chips + Swiss Cheese + Honey Ham + Coffee
S - Almond Biscotti + Mountain Mix Trail Mix
L - Avocado + Crunchmaster Multigrain Crackers + Naked Kale Chips
S - Heath Klondike Bar
D - Lemon Pepper Chicken Breast + Steamed Veggies + Mac & Cheese
S - Sweet Potato Chips + Swiss Cheese
Exercise: Strength Training Circuit (-60) + Treadmill (-40) + General Calisthenics (-93)
Yesterday was good, except for the Klondike Bar. I didn't even want it, but I coworker bought it for me and handed it to me and I didn't have much choice in the matter. I would have felt bad if I didn't eat it.
Muscles are fatigued. I see that as a good sign. I need to build more muscle.

Down 2.4lbs today to my lowest ever adult weight: 162.4lbs. Beats my Christmas Day record by 0.4 pounds.
I doubt it will last though. I ate a lot today, about 2100 calories. The store had some shad roe which I adore and I also had a bread roll. God, I run so much better at lower weights though.
It could be the sodium novangel. But I do like canned. Let's see what happens now I am back on it.

Hi folks! Hope you all are having a good weekend.
I had a few off days but I think I'm getting back on track. I'm a midwife and sometimes have to work long hours on very little sleep.. Late last week I had two births back to back so it was rough times (hence the not updating!). I have a bad habit of sometimes eating mostly starchy carbs/whatever is available in those cases.
Today:
B:Crepes with strawberry jam
Workout: Spin class
L: Protein powder and almond milk; greek yogurt with berries, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds
S: Dark Chocolate (I have an addiction.. it's an issue)
D: Poached eggs and roasted asparagus; plain yogurt with berries.

Hi everyone, Wow I love reading about folks getting all this great stuff done! And sharing success. I worked today so no extra exercise except taking the dogs out. Really, I'm just too too tired today.
I also did not eat all my meals ( no time to eat with dogs everywhere yuk,)never have been able to eat while I groom. I'm sure that's why I was so much thinner when I worked full time.
Now, I feel like I want to just go to bed. 8 hours of standing and bending and lifting is enough for me.
Good night everyone.

miniapplecocoa thanks! it wasn't hard, just frustrating because I had to go to campus to use the computer labs, since Quickbooks isn't something you just have on your computer. I figured out what was wrong driving to work and in my sleep!
Diana yes, I am sure it's hard. I hope your friend can find some peace and be free of pain.
Today:
B - no time before school this morning, so toasted sourdough with PB&J.
L - El Pollo Loco tortilla wrap
D - chicken bacon alfredo pizza 2 slices
WINE in about an hour
took a walk with DH for an hour and 15 minutes -burned about 350 calories
