Default Getting back on the horse-tips & tricks

Hey everyone,

I'm up 10 lbs from my happy weight. I've decided I've had enough of the whole clothes getting too tight thing and the whole feeling a lack of control thing.

I'm looking to my fellow 3FC members for ideas and inspiration. When you are off the wagon, what do you do to motivate yourself? What helps you get back on track?

Things that help me--

--Coming back to this website-LOVE updating my ticker and profile stats-I feel accomplished and proud everytime I see the ticker go down
--Listening to weight loss podcasts, especially on my walks to work
--Going to bed earlier
--Abstaining from alcohol (lowers inhibitions which results in eating junk)
--Daily weigh ins
--Reading weight loss blogs
--Keeping a food journal
--Tracking weight loss progress with various weight apps on my phone-love seeing charts, graphed, and stats on my progress
--Trying on clothes at stores, picking a certain size and going once a week and trying it on to see progress
--Avoiding junk food. One bite of sugar leads to more and more
Not going out to eat
--Looking at pictures of me 10 lbs thinner
--Taking selfies to document progress
--Writing down my reasons for wanting to lose weight
--consuming 1200-1400 calories a day, with a diet high in eggs, plain Greek yogurt, sweet potatoes, spinach, turkey wraps, string cheese, and oatmeal with banana. pears and apples as snacks. Sparkling water and black coffee as beverages.

What kinds of stuff help motivate and inspire you? When I stick to these things, the weight tends it melt off. I think keeping a positive attitude is also super important...gotta believe in yourself.
