Diana, how sad about your friend! Life is so unfair.

Syckgirl, the watch sounds pretty! I was just wondering if people still wear watches or if the phone has replaced them. I can't wait for my chubby wrist to shrink down enough to wear mine again. It's like a silver bracelet and has the second hand I need for work.

The weight training and healthy foods must be working because, despite the 2000 calorie day, I still had a tiny loss this morning.

Breakfast:
Egg on toast
Coffee with milk

Lunch:
Baked potato with toppings

Dinner:
We are having pancakes, bacon and applesauce.

My veg box doesn't come until tomorrow afternoon and I'm down to potatoes and celery. I'm thinking of making a celery soup...I guess that would be Cream of Celery. The kids can eat it.

Hi Everyone!

Good news from the Vet. Cody did great! I am not so much! Or I wasn't until the call from the Vet. I had a very bad morning, food wise. I totally fell off the wagon, got run over by the wagon and then was backed back over by it again. This morning I felt like I was reliving a lot of stuff that I went through in the past. It's funny how you can think you are doing better and then wham you can have a set back. It can happen so quickly and easily. I do appreciate being able to post my thoughts and stresses here. It does truly help. I mentioned to my DH, about the struggles I had with eating this morning. It seemed like he didn't "get it". He is a larger man and has major health issues, but he doesn't have food issues like me. Oh well, we are all different. Today I fell. I will pick myself back up, brush myself off, and move forward. I have not had a full on binge in a long time. Ugh! I cannot believe I did that. Moving forward though. That's all I can do. I cannot undo anything.

My DH doesn't get it either but both of us had a light bulb moment when I realized food is my way of relaxing myself. We all have something we use to relax, destress. My DH uses an online game, which he can also take to extremes. I have transferred my stress management to sitting in a hot tub, especially after work or being out with the kids. Then I can eat healthier foods and not go crazy.

I'm sorry you had a stressful morning. Fresh start!

Coolmom people most definitely still wear watches! Bigger styles are in now and they are awesome...this Aqua Master I bought is much bigger than the 2 Movados I have at home, which I haven't worn in so long. It's also much heavier and WAY more blingy! I love how is sparkles! I guess that's why we women love diamonds so much...the BLING! I've even seen people wearing those blue tooth watches you can get at Best Buy that communicate with your smart phone. Those are crazy! My boss wears one. Apparently you can get texts through them and talk in to them...total 007 stuff.

Diana it is strange how quickly we can fall off when we think we're doing great, or at least controlled. I think it's a peek at how things could go if we give up. You've got the right attitude, just move on and get back to the program. Glad to hear Cody did well

Larry wow that is some great water loss! Good job paying attention to your body, that's what keeps us getting healthier!

Had tilapia and DH made some creamy green beans that were awesome, I ate a lot but stayed under for calories and just got done exercising, so should be a good day.

The only thing keeping me on my exercise plan is the Feb exercise challenge, I only have a couple days left so will just make it. It's a chore sometimes keeping after my inner child. I don't know why I'm kind of resisting, I'm really starting to feel stronger and more flexible.

cool mom I would so love a hot tub, what a great way to relax, maybe someday

Syckgirlsfv congrats on the new watch, sounds great

Best to all

Ian smoked oysters tomorrow!!

Hi Everyone!

Thank you for the support.

We won't discuss my food today, just moving on.

I didn't do a workout today. While Cody was at the Vet I finished up with my office stuff, cleaned the office and bathrooms. We had to close early to go pick him up. He seems to be doing very well and I am so glad to have him back home tonight.

My DH had a heart to heart with Danny tonight. His attitude was improved and I think he is reconsidering things. We'll see how it goes.

Enjoy your evening.

I had 42 students today and they gave me a run for my money lol....was a very busy afternoon...ending the day at 1520 calories and 133 carbs...trying to hit between 120-150 carbs consistently and then lower it some more...walked inclines at the gym....that's about it for the day

Not a good calorie day and that makes two in a row.

Breakfast was egg on toast and coffee

Lunch was cream of celery soup

Snack: bread with cheese and salami

Dinner: protein pancakes, fried potatoes, applesauce and bacon.

Chai latte at my weekly knit night at the coffee shop.

I did stop at the store and grab some fruit and more spaghetti squash and my veg delivery comes tomorrow. I should get it all prepped and have no excuse.

I'm trying to stay committed to logging in and sharing daily. I work for the state health insurance here. They have started to come down really hard on us making mistakes. I work production processing claims.. so we are under heat to move quickly too. When I start to slow down out of tiredness I want to run to my comfort which is of course - food. I made it thru the entire day and only sort of cheated once.. I had two cookies. Although, I stayed somewhat within calories..
After a long day - I had class tonight. Ending my night really late and back up to work in just 5 hours.. wooooo I'm tired!

Anyhow..
I started my day today at 280.2 I was at 282.4 yesterday
That's 2.2 down already.
Weird enough I weighed tonight and I'm still at 280.2
hopeful that the scale will move down in the morning!!

I try to keep my menu pretty much the same daily except for lunch.

Today

Breakfast
Cereal with Almond milk 165

snack
sugar free jello with whipped topping - 55 calories

Lunch
Chipotle chicken w/tortilla -270

snack
2 cookie 150

dinner
panda bowl 475

brownie bites 100

total calorie 1215

alright good night yall

and good job to everyone else!!

morning all

had my turkey patty with zoodles and light jarlsberg last night before school, and also shoe string fries (frozen, baked in oven)...yet I was starving when I got home! So I had some of those pretzel chips dipped in jalapeno greek yogurt dip. And my weight came down the .8 it was up yesterday. WHATEVER!

Planning on going to the gym tonight after work to do cardio.

B - oats mixed with egg whites and nuked, melted jarlsberg on top
S - crunchy rice roller
L - garden burger patty wrapped in low carb wrap with avocado and romaine
D - need to use up the pesto sauce I got a few weeks ago - serving over spinach rotini with some kind of meat on the side.
