Welcome Terra wishing you the best, sounds like you're off to a good start, keep positive and understand there'll be ups and downs, but overall downward trend in weight and increased health is our ultimate goal, no matter how long it takes.

Larry and Ian, you guys are doing well with changing things up, Larry you have me thinking about green beans again, I have some frozen ones from the garden, need to eat up those bad boys and Ian you're a testament to keeping an open mind and not being afraid to change things up.

I had a typical weekend, up a few, low cal today, pizza and chocolate last night, big difference between this week and last is the free for all brought on by the superbowl.

I did have a weird little time yesterday, got into an almost bingey frame of mind, ate some stick pepperoni, then some white baking chocolate, 2 squares, it was like I thought this is my treat day and I'm not going to get a treat, so I thought it was a sweet tooth, so I ate an orange, then made myself go outside and ended up snowshoeing for an hour and fifteen, I knew my rational mind wasn't involved at all, then we ended up going out for pizza and stopped for a chocolate bar, so I got my normal treat, not sure what happened there, but not surprising that there's still an irrational element to my eating behavior at times...anyway, feeling better and more normal today.

Hope everyone had a great weekend, DH and I are watching "it's a mad, mad, mad world" haven't seen it in years

best to all

Terra: Welcome to the thread! And John: Larry: Awesome job with getting down to a new 10s on the scale, it feels good, doesn't it? Ian: I'm glad you're not seeing gains anymore!

Ian, the scale is suddenly dropping for you which is great. I'm assuming the beer is eliminating the water weight? Guess I have an excuse to start drinking again.

Thanks novangel. I am not sure it is the beer as I am drinking a lot less than I used to. I just think my body is adapting to the new regime.

But I hope the losses keep coming!

Good job getting those thoughts under control. I don't know why that stuff happens. It's like that little devil on your shoulder.

Novangel Hi

im trying an idea of just transitioning to counting carbs rather than counting calories AND carbs....i'm at 42 carbs for the day....I had a sugar free mocha, a sausage, onions and a little cheese, a low sugar protein bar and 2 spoonfuls of peanut butter....and i'm so freaking HUNGRY!!...I know dinner is cooking but omg I feel so hungry that it feels like i'm going to throw up this happens when I get stomach-hungry instead of head-hungry....

I had a good weight workout this morning although I woke up with a weird twinge in my neck/shoulder that still hasn't cleared up...makes it hard to turn my head to the left....I took little son and his friend to The Lego Movie and let them go in by themselves to watch it I stayed in the building and read a book...they were very proud to go by themselves lol cute

Good morning all, the whoosh fairy stopped by, back down to 154.9, and my regular routine.

B- oatmeal, unsweetened van almond milk, poached egg
L- spring mix, Italian, southwest yogurt dressing, salsa, salmon
S- orange, banana
D- ? I think fish and veg
E- walk at work, bike and I think some snow shoveling another inch or so last night

Hope everyone has a wonderful day

Good morning!

It's been a very social weekend here on Radio mountain, so I'm not quite back on track from my trip. Hoping today will be my first fully on plan day!

Calories for yesterday were 1300 + alcohol.
Short walk with the dog.

My tracker is acting up so I'll have more exact totals tomorrow.

morning all!

I've been busy with school and stuff...I've got two midterms this week. Doing ok with food, though last night we took advantage of a free pizza from Papa John's and ate it while watching The Walking Dead mid-season premier! I only had two pieces, though.

today:
B - 0% greek yogurt/honey/15 almonds/pumpkin pie spice
L - salad: romaine, energy nut mix, deli sliced turkey, Bolthouse Farms balsamic vinaigrette.
S - didn't bring one
D - ravioli stuffed with artichoke/cheese and maybe zoodles, along with probably pork chops. mmmmmmmm!
WINE!

probably do some dumbbell curls for biceps at home tonight - did push ups last night with those push up bars - 8 sets of 10.
