152.8...here it is the weekend almost and I'm just about rid of all that water. TOM is lurking...won't be long and then my system to right itself again, I hope! I'm so close to leaving the 150s!

short bike ride tonight while DH is at a meeting - just 11 miles. Burns 400 calories so I can have the couple shots I usually have on Friday night without feeling TOO guilty about it. TGIF!!!

Thank you, Hiddenstar.
*Waves to everyone on the thread*

I awoke with an additional 1.6 on my
scale. Due to my new approach to using the
TDEE method for my caloric allotment, I
may not drop too soon. :\

Had a great run tonight. In fact, probably best run ever esp. considering I just started back.

Nothing else to report really. Lots of bad news from back home that I wish I could help with but just can't get there right now. Not that anyone is being left alone; but when you live away, you always wish you could be there as another pair of hands and legs. As far as my mom, it's hard to judge. But for right now, I'm staying put at home. :-(

154.2. I'm doing the happy dance. I have to really make sure that I'm good over the weekend which is when I usually mess up. Of course, family is having normal Saturday night pizza. I'm going to make something healthy for me. Pizza is my weakness - can never limit how much I eat so better to avoid it till I reach my goals.

Another happy thought, we started building a gym in garage. Picked up some weights and mats today. Going to start small and add to it. Hoping to get my kids to use it also.

153 this morning, but had Indian food last night (SO GOOD) and some shots of vodka so that wasn't too bad...

just came back from a 26 mile bike ride, too.

153.6. A new all time low. Can't help but be excited. It is starting to seem possible to make it to the 140's. I haven't seen that since high school.

Syckgirlsfv -great job on your bike ride. Now that I'm going to be exercising from home, I might join you and ride my bike for exercise. However, i can't imagine going the distances you do. I already have a bike but only use it when kids are playing at park to long.

154.6. I stressed ate yesterday so probably too much sodium and not enough water.

My teenage ds is giving up at school. Won't bring homework home. Doesn't care about grades. No motivation. Just can't figure out how to help him. Everytime we think things are getting better, I have another teacher contacting me.

argh! up a couple water pounds again! BUT, since this morning and the fact that TOM has arrived, it seems like all that water is leaving. We'll see - I rode 21 miles last night and will do the same tonight.

Hi hopefully it's ok if I join this thread, need some accountability. I have been hanging around 155 for ages but went on holiday and am back up to 159.1.

So need to get back on a roll and back to my usual exercise routine. I've been in the 150's for a long long time and am ready to reintroduce myself to the 140's

I went outrigger paddling this morning before work for 1h30 so I'm happy with that. I have swim training tonight for an hour and need to make sure I actually go so I can get back into the old routine!

Have a good day ladies!

Valmorel glad to have you join us. Ugh! I think we have all experienced that vacation/holiday blues when we gain so much. Hopefully, it is mostly water weight and will disappear soon. I feel like I'm stuck in the 150's for a long time too. (I had the vacation issue also) I'm really hoping that I might start seeing the 140s next month. The paddling and swimming sounds like good exercise. Do you go outrigger paddling much?

Syckgirlsfv - hope you have a good whoosh after tom

154.2 today. Slow and steady seems like my pattern

Hiddenstar mini whoosh! so far... 152.0 this morning. I'm eating leftover pizza from DH's dinner last night though, for breakfast right now, because though I'm off work today (Rosh Hashanah) I am working the will call table at morning services for the temple. I get paid a day's pay to work 3 hours, and I still get holiday pay, too. So I have to run!

have a great day all

Ok so 158.7 today, I'll be happy if it keeps going like that! I even got up for a quick hours bike ride before work.

Hiddenstar thanks for the welcome! Yeah the holiday blues are annoying but it is what it is :-) let's hope it's not too hard to take back off! I recently started outrigger and it's so much fun. I only do it twice a week at the moment and am doing my first race next month so that should be really cool! Do you paddle too?
At least you are in the bottom half of the 150's you'll be in the 140's before you know it!

Syckgirlsfv congrats on the mini woosh!! And wow your job sounds great! I wish I had a job like that.
