This forum gave me the support I needed in 2010 to lose over 42 lbs. I went from 172 to 128 and kept off 30-35 lbs until last year when I had to start taking prednisone (steroids) and cymbalta. My weight shot up and since then I have been finding it difficult to stabilize my weight. I do have health issues but nothing that explains gaining 4 lbs in one week.
My hope is to do what worked the last time and move from my current 165 lbs to 135 lbs within 6 months by counting calories and upping my exercise.
Hi kimmieval, I did really well in 2010 also but now back to trying to get to my low which wasn't as great as yours to would love to get into the 130's. I only got down to 165. I'm trying to get back there now and of course under . I count calories on MFP but my main focus is low carb. If I can keep the carbs out of my mouth I do fine, but I worry because often times the protein makes me full and my calories are too low. I'm a daily weigher and I have now been going between 168-170 for all of February. I'm a little lost as to what to do to get the scale to continue to move. I wish you much success. Do you still have your plan from 2010? Are you gonna follow that? Do share if you don't mind. I could sure use the help
Weigh in today 169.6 up .6 from yesterday after eating 247 carbs last evening, smh.

Thanks I'm just low carbing as much as possible. I found out recently as in last week that I can't allow myself to eat carbs. A snack bag of chips sets me off. If I eat sweets I want more. The only thing I seem to control is fries. I eat a 8-10 with ketchup and I am done (the ones that my son makes). I'm trying to maintain some control but it does get harder with each day it seems. I was going to the gym but haven't been in awhile. I know that would make a big difference
