Syckgirlsfv, you did great those 10 days And on 3 weeks with out any spirits. I did that in 2004 and never looked back. Red wine was my drink of choice or an occasional gin and tonic . Thanks for starting the new goal

I think we've all done great. We are still here. We didn't get upset and leave. Which is what I've done in the past.

I'm in also , I'm gonna shoot for 2.8lbs. I have a cook out to attend with some former co-workers on the 10th so that will be incentive. I can't wait to see their faces. I always talked about losing weight when we worked together but I fell off the wagon more than I stayed on.

Love2b150, syckgirlsfv, and thirti4thirty - I have been your secret stalker for the last few weeks. Been secretly cheering you on and hoping for your success in reaching the 150's. I found it both encouraging to see others struggle like me plus I know that I can make it if you 3 can.

So I hope that I can join you for May and get out of the 160s forever. About 1.5 years ago, I started my life change. I dropped 30 pounds in about 3 months, very easily. Then got stuck at 163. After a few months of no change, I got depressed and started eating a lot. Went back up to 170.

This February, I got my head together and fixed my lifestyle. I started the stronglifts lifting program. I will have completed week 12 on Friday. I like how I got stronger but the weight didn't move very much. I am now going to reduce some of the lifting and get back to focusing on more cardio. I am currently 164 and am 44 years old.

I have a family reunion in July which is one of my incentives cuz I know lots of pictures will be taken. But I feel that I have started making permanent changes. However the last 6 weeks, I have been bouncing between 164 and 169. It's like my body wants to stay in the 160s.

hiddenstar to the thread We have a bit in common. I loss 30lbs in 3.5 months in 2010, my low was 165. I got comfortable and the weight came back. This January I got myself together with the help of my church and here I am. I'm 48 and it seems to me that the 160's are just like the 180's they just love me but we will get out of here

Glad to have you. Are you gonna join our 5/13 fun goal?

always nice to see new people! It sure helps to have people with common goals to talk to Here's to all of us getting to switch over to the 150's thread! Come on 150's!

I think 2 weeks is realistic for a 5 pound loss - maybe a little on the high side but hey, it won't happen if we don't try. My eating has been pretty clean lately - I had some chicken street tacos (frozen from Costco) the other night before school and I didn't like them! I'm sure because I am eating about 98% non-junk now and no alcohol. I say 98% because I still have a daily one-piece-of-candy habit. As in one small piece; lately it's been a Reese's peanut butter egg. But they're almost gone!

Just had a big kale salad with organic chicken breast - yum! it's become my fav lunch.

Ok!!! I saw 169.6sooner than I thought I would!!!! And keeping my weight loss history in mind I'm confident that this will stick Sooooo Id like to say hello to everyone here!! Hopefully, we'll be able to say good bye to the 160's soon enough. Oh and Ive reached my 70 lbs lost target as well!!! Can't wait for my next mini goal reward which is getting my hair coloured when I reach 160 lbs

Syckgirlsfv, 5lbs is doable I am afraid to get my hopes up and the scale goes back up deep into the 160's so I'm a and I am aiming low I'm gonna make tacos soon You're good, I'm gonna call your one Reece's an NSV because I CAN NOT eat just one. I buy the king pack I eat the king pack. I buy a bag of mini's and eat them until I'm a tad nauseous no control with them or kitkats

Ok, i'm joining in for the challenge. I'm so happy that I'm starting at 164. It's so much up and down. At least this is my lowest so far.

I also have another goal. Went to store today to use up gift card. Really didn't need anything, plus hate to buy new clothes that won't (hopefully) fit me much longer. So I bought a pair of jeans 1-size too small. The good news was I was able to zip them up but they are very tight. I never did something like this. My goal is to fit comfortably in them by end of may.

Syckgirlsfv - congrats on your new low.

Love2b150 - awesome news about hitting 159. Just breaking past 160 is huge.

Thanks hiddenstar , I think doing it together makes it fun Congratulations on the low exciting I want to buy a pair of jeans the next size down also. And just try them on each week until they fit ha I have a brunch at church on the morning of the 10th and a cookout that afternoon/evening that will have excellent down home cooking all the way to the pound cake. I may fast the day before We can do it

Ok Syckgirlsfv, I changed by goal to 156, I hope I'm not crying at the end because I gone the wrong way
