Hope everyone else is doing good!

Minor Victory: Mindlessly snagged a brownie at church, took a bite, realized that I am giving up sugar today mid-chew, and threw it away!!

Good job on the victory over mindless snacking, Inkrid!

Mintybadger: 2000 calories seems like a reasonable day off, well done!

novangel (my other fellow Walking Dead fan!): if you run with your phone you might be able to use a gps app like Endomondo...

Tyla: I hope you are feeling better today, hang in there!

Larry: I'm glad you're having the test, though I know it isn't fun. I'll be going through airport security on Thursday which is only slightly better than a colonoscopy these days...

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. It's going too fast. Yesterday I did some housework and some reorganizing. Last night I went to a benefit show to raise money for breast cancer research. It was a late night, but I had a good time. I even won some of the raffle prizes. They had cookies and cupcakes for snacks. I had a few cookies, but I had allowed for the possibility of sweets in my calories for the day so was still well within my calorie goal for the day. It felt good to know I had planned and was in control.

I hope everyone has a great Sunday . . .

last night I stuck to my "no food after dinner" rule and turned down DH's offer to go get some ice cream for us all.....he brought back peanut butter cookies instead which made it much easier to turn down because I don't like PB flavored stuff as much as other sweets

today there is a birthday party at a pizza parlor this afternoon....we'll see how my willpower does

Checking in - today was a good day.

Portion wise and exercise was combined with doing housework, laundry and finally getting my master bedroom 100% unpacked (moved into a new apartment at the end of AUgust - been sleeping in a spare room since then)

Now I just have my other spare room bed full of random things that don't have a home!

baby steps :P

Thanks Diana. Looks like I have lost an inch on the waist too.

The 28 inch waist pants and belt fit. Just. They're tight but worth wearing to work tomorrow. I can't wait to weigh in tomorrow. There is a chance I will be deep enough into the 160s for them to survive the Tuesday bounce.

Fingers crossed.
