Default This Time Is Different!!! Finally In ONEderland!!!

This is day 60 and I am officially in ONEderland - if only by 1/2 lb. I have dieted ALL my life - was a fat baby, fat child, teenager, etc.... I have done every diet there is and lost and gained hundreds of lbs over the years. Finally at 57 I am back in ONEderland - been 30 years since I was in my 100's. I decided this time to do Weight Watchers - simple points and it is working. I normally go at a diet with gusto and want to lose lots quickly! If not I convince myself it isn't worth it and I will never get there and it isn't fun and I just go off and eat!!! This time I decided I would do it slow and it is working and I am not starving or eating stuff I don't like. I started with the Lean Cuisine or Smart One frozen meals. (Yes I know lots of sodium) But, they are portion controlled and have food I like. I LOVE the LC Eggroll and have one every day for 50 of the 60 days now. I enjoy what I am eating - I only eat the ones I like. I drink water (don't like but it is better than having to eat what I hate and then crave what I am NOT eating). I can eat the WW desserts and since they are individually packaged I am not overeating them. I do have one meal that I cook with real food and I am just NOT craving or wanting anything else. This just has been a blessing. My daughter and I walk our outlet mall almost every night (2 miles) and I am feeling better than I have in a LONG time. 3FC has been my comfort and I read all the new listings every day. I am really happy this time and not feeling deprived - it is just a new way of life. I never thought I would say that but I don't miss anything! Thanks for letting me share and for all of you going through this weight loss journey! I was originally at 227 and now 199 1/2.

That's fantastic!! Congratulations. I'm 56 myself, and can attest to the special pleasure of getting slimmer at an age when most of the world is getting fatter. It sounds like you've discovered one of the secrets of sustainable weight management: learning what works for YOU and building your eating plan around foods you actually enjoy. (Imagine that!)
