Seeking a weight loss buddy in the Houston, TX area
 

Hi all, I'm just a lurker here but I find these forums to be a tremendous source of inspiration. Never the less, I would really love it if I had a work out buddy. I'm not sure if this is even posted in the right forum or allowed (since you never know who you'll encounter over the web). I apologize if it isn't. :?:



If there are any Houstonians, particularly anyone that can travel easily to the downtown area/Memorial Park/Herman Park/Bear Creek area/NW area, I would just love to have someone to chit chat with and relate to while on my walks.

This is probably a shot in the dark, but I figured I had nothing to lose by asking.

About myself: In my late 20s, have QUITE a bit of weight to lose so jogging is out of the question at the moment. I'm into geeky stuff. I welcome anyone who would just like a friendly walking partner and to have that added accountability.
Anyone? Anyone at all? :)
