Thanks everyone.

I was the topic of conversation last night around the table. Which was fun because a lot of the people there had helped me out. Some had given me advice on my diet (inoffensive stuff, like ideas for nice salads), others work out with me (gym, running, tennis, squash next week) and another who suggested the new glasses. So it was very well taken.

As for the food, I just enjoyed it and I drank as much as I could before the bill came. Beer and wine and shots are completely OP for me as you know. It's like my Medifast or Ideal Protein.

So I am up 1 pound today. To compensate, I am doubling up (ran my 5k this morning and will lift weights for lunch) and I am hoping to fast for the day.

I normally skip dinner anyway, and I missed breakfast this morning because of eating late which made me not hungry in the morning. So we will see what happens with lunch.

Naughty.

Sounds like a great evening with great friends, Ian. And you've found the secret. We can have these nights out and enjoy ourselves so long as we get back on plan the next day -- in your case, back on plan with gusto!
