Talking I had an Ian dinner tonight

I drank two pints for dinner tonight. Good times. I haven't had any beer in a month. I'm hoping the beer gods will be as kind to me as they have been to Ian and not throw off my weigh in on Saturday.

Good on you Crispin! As long as you did not eat anything with those beers, you will be down tomorrow Sir!

That's the Ian guarantee! And you can take it to the bank!

Let us know what happens on the scale.

I have just finished off two bottles of Green Flash Palate Wrecker (9.5% abv) and a large gin and tonic for dinner.

Weight gain? I don't think so.

Well, I don't feel any heavier, for whatever that's worth. I weigh in tomorrow so will know for sure.

The only negative I can see so far is that I'm pathetic at handling alcohol w/o food in my belly. I slept through my alarm clock this morning and was 30 minutes late for work. Ooops.

Oh, and I'm a chick. I named myself after a beloved pet kitty.

Green Flash Palate Wrecker sounds great! I had a couple Shocktop Apple Wheats for dinner tonight.

That's a small price to pay! Let us know how the weigh-in goes Crispin.

And very nice Jennifer on the shocktops. Did you eat anything or do it Ian style (recommended)?

I did not eat when I was drinking (I did have a small dinner before going out though). Like you, I really like beer and can't follow any diet that would expect me to give it up!

While many times I would prefer the "Ian diet", I've found my tummy doesn't appreciate me at 3am. If a small amount of appetizers/snacks are allowed on this diet, I'm in. And yes, the scale does reward me!

No loss this week but no gain either. I'll take it!

Wine works as well.

Anything without a sugary mixer.

Most of my weightloss has been a drunken blur!

I'll wake up in maintenance one day with one big headache and a lot lighter not knowing what really happened.
