Love this hilarious thread and the article......my very large but firm thighs now look like a Baja race course with enough ups and downs to make a sailor sea sick. Glad to know it's a good thing!

Heh. I have lost 150 lbs. My fat is all loose and jiggly. It is I THINK less a sign that it is breaking up and READ to 'wash away' and MORE a sign of the weight loss you've already achieved. Your body was packing fat into the space available and is now eating through its reserves. So the fact is less densely packed.

It's like, if you went on a vacation with a small suitcase stuffed full of clothes at the beginning, but instead of keeping your laundry you just left the dirty clothes behind: the exterior bulging of the suitcase lessens but so does the interior density/weight of the stuff you brought. Less solid. More jiggly.

I hope it's a good thing. :-) My body can be very jiggly; that's usually when I'm retaining water. During these times, my body reminds me of someone jumping up and down on a waterbed. It's actually depressing...but maybe it's loose fat (in addition to water). :P

Well, if it's jiggling, then that means that you're moving, and that's a good thing!

For those of you who missed the article, I think it's here ... I passed by it the first time, too.

I am jiggly as well. I also thought I noticed that the most jiggly parts are the parts where I lose weight next. At first, when I exercised, I jiggled the most in my inner thighs, and they were the first places I lost. Then my abdomen jiggled and then shrunk some, and now my "backboobs" are jiggling and I am really hoping they go next!
