Thank you all, so much! It's great when people can notice. Definitely makes me want to keep pushing. And I LOVE my attitude this time around. I have given up so many times but I know for sure this time I'm sticking with it. A year ago, I would have NEVER put up pictures of myself like this. I even put them on facebook! I'm not ashamed, I'm PROUD for what I've done and will continue to do. A year ago I also would have NEVER went to a zumba class by myself without a friend. I made myself go, I made myself walk everyday, I made myself buy a punching bag, heck I even just made myself do a half hour with it after walking 2 hours, and I see now its all worth it!

Thanks again

I love your attitude too!! This is a big deal with weight loss and it matters a lot! I used to be such a debbie downer with my weight loss efforts but NOT this time!! Positive thinking always!

All this zumba talk is making me really curious about it!! Is it through a gym or does everyone find a dance studio or something??

Ian - Thank you so much!

hhm6 - Thank you also! As for the zumba, mine is through a private instructor who rents slots at a local community center. So I just show up, pay my $5 and enjoy the class! A lot of instructors are like that but there are also some at gyms, some of which you need to be a member for, and some not.

You can go to "find a zumba instructor" on Zumbas official website and it will list all of the instructors near you and where they teach their classes and what times, etc. You should go! It's a lot of fun.

You're doing awesome!

I know how hard it is to see the difference in yourself, especially in the early stages, but keep taking those photos! In the future you'll be so happy you did.

We started out in a very similar place, and I know from experience that stretchy pants are very forgiving in either direction. Losses and gains are very hard to gauge through them, but it sounds like you're going into this with a great attitude. Just keep going and trust the process.
