Default NSV Bank teller questioned my identity

I went to the bank drive-through yesterday and had a funny moment. My real name tends to be one used by males more than females so the teller was questioning the transaction. She asked whose account this was and I told her it was mine. She looked at my driver's license, looked at me, looked at my license. And she gave me a puzzled look and said, "The name on this account and on this ID are the same, but it's not you." Ok, that was AWESOME!

That's a great feeling, isn't it??

Years ago I worked part-time as a teller at a local credit union. One day a female member came in and presented her ID for her transaction. I took one look at it, looked up at her, looked at it again, and then asked her "Okay, who are you and what did you do with (insert her name here?)" And smiled, of course. You could tell it made her feel so good, even though I'm sure it had happened to her before. Then of course I told her how good she looked, etc....and boy, did she! It had completely changed her looks. I don't remember a whole lot about it other than she'd lost her weight on the Atkins diet.

I was at a convention once after I had lost a lot of weight. Someone I had not seen for quite some time said she only recognized me by my voice.

Thanks everybody. I do think the teller was having a "blonde moment" because I really don't look THAT different, but I'll take my happiness where I can find it.
