Well I have tendancy to do well all week on IP but cheat on weekends. I seem to have no strengh when the weekend arrives and have chips or chocolates therefore, thought I would check with my IP coach if 40 lbs was unreasonable as a target/goal (by the end of June). She indicated to me that with hard work and consistancy; I can definitely attain this target.
So I have a goal and you can be darn sure that this will be my focus until the end of June!
My brother from Dallas will be arriving on June 29th and I want him to be shocked when he sees me. I have purposely not sent him pics. He has been very supportive with my journey on IP. He also knows that I have lost a total of 30 lbs.
I have had many obstacles since January 22, 2013 but still have managed to have lost 30 lbs. Sure the total is not as big as I had anticipated but I will not get discouraged and am proud with what I have accomplished thus far. But lately, I have been a little lazy about it so I need to find my ough! and get back in the zone.
Rachel, 30lbs is great, and good luck with your goal, you can do it! I find that I have the same problem with wanting to indulge on the weekends. I try to only pick one day so that I don't undo my whole week, and also workout a little more that day.
Thank you so much for the support ShaMac and Katie.....I will keep you posted. Thanks for the advice about the one cheat day and exercise. I have not started with exercise yet...but with the nice weather arriving I will certainly be starting.
