The way the body treats water is a weird thing. Not long back I didn't eat for three days. I lost nine pounds in that period of time. I realized it must have been mostly water, but it was still nice to see the scales read that low! Anyway, I started back eating my regular diet amount on the fourth day. Three days after I started eating again, I gained exactly nine pounds back. (I don't think I'll be doing that again anytime soon). Anyway, if you're really eating under maintenance, it'll come off.
